Piss test sent to Quest....haven't gotten a call?

I took my piss test monday Jan. 30th around 10:30 a.m. and was fairly prepared in my opinion ( the sample was sent to Quest Diagnostics). I drank two 32oz. glasses of gatorade mixed with a pouch of Certo in each, as well as taking 4 aspirin about 2 1/2 hrs before i pissed. I also drank a good amount of water as well as eating red meat the night before the test. I took B-12 but i realized way too late that the damn pills were MCG and not MG so i got screwed there ( My piss was fairly clear....slight yellow tinge). It's now thursday February 2nd and I havent heard anything even though the lady said they would call me within 48 hrs, so im starting to stress big time(my start date is February 6th, so I figure if i dont get a call then Ill just show up for work as usual). The test was the SAP 5-50 W/NIT, Ive been clean since christmas day, up to then I was a hardcore smoker for almost 6 years every single day smokin at least a Half 1/8 a day of funk buds. I'm 6'2 215lbs and I also lost about 30 lbs over the past few months so i figure that might help. I read on some of these posts that Quest WILL NOT call you if the test was negative, so if anyone knows for sure please let me know ASAP so i can stop stressin this bullshit! I cant afford to lose this job, its with a major fortune 100 company!:thumbsup:

No news means good news in the world of drug testing. The MRO would only contact you if there were any issues with the sample.
If you are waiting to be put to work, and don't hear nothing by Friday morning, call the employer up sometime after lunch break and ask "What date can I start?"...
Never inquire about the drug testing results.

The thing is....i start this monday feb. 6th......i guess ill just show up monday as usual without any reservations. I really cant call and ask when can i start because i already know when i start...so i guess ill just leave it be and wait at least til the end of the first week to blaze up again....until then....ill hang tight. I really wish i just subbed my piss for someone elses clean piss. I'll make a new post when i know for sure...

I waited **gasp** two weeks, and got the call from the employer while on vacation, and dont even get me started on how the actual d-test went. lol A little stage fright. :dance:

Just show up for work and carry on with the day in the manner that a "clean" person would, and don't say anything to anyone. :cool:

If you hadnt smoked for 30+ days you don't have much to worry about.
