advice needed

This is my first grow and everything has gone fairly well, now i have reached the 9 weeks like said on the packet i got this whitewidow from. It has been a little cold in my grow room and i think it needs longer mabe a week or 2. I was wondering what other ppl think with a little more experience than me.
Any feed back would be great.

Looks like they need some more time still alittle green but it is a little hard to see have you looked at the trichs under a magnifying glass? also from what i have learned that the flowering time on the packets never can be trusted but they do look very frosty you will definetly have some good smoke take a macro shot of a bud if your camera can do it and let us have a closer look...evil

i just noticed that you are using a 200 watt lamp those dates on the packet are for large hid lamps and perfect conditions i would say they deff need some more time good luck

cheerz thats what i thought. i am planning on buyng a cheap microscope once i have some cash, so i can c the amber trics.
That 3rd pic is with a 2.5x eyeglass on the end of my camera but thats as close as i can get.

its just a really basic setup
i am growing in soil with canna terra nutes. i have a 200watt envirolight and a couple of cfls. for ventilation i have 2 pc fans sucking air out as slow as possible.I let my plant grow 2 big before i flowered it and had to tye it back into a kinda Yshape but it seams to have been ok, mabe more smaller buds rarther than 1 huge 1. I also have a tomato plant in there on its second crop and a venus flytrap thats flowering.

looks sweet rule of thumb when u think its time to harvest wait a couple more weeks but checkign trichomes is the only real relevent way to know..ww mostly indica for a up high u want the trichomes mostly clear to cloudy at harvest time for a narcotic sleepy high wait a few more days for mostly cloudy to amber trichomes...as zandor has pointed out previously once u have mostly amber trichomes thc production has begun depleating itself and the plant isno longer in its prime but ona downward tilt...great grow keep it up!

Do the faqs atually work here, i have searched 4: lst, topping even grow and nothing. I know most of this stuff but i still like to read and extend my knowledge. Does anyone have any good turorials because my friend is also starting to grow and would find these usefull.

Well, the FAQs do work... but they're a work in progress... so you'll probably not find a lot of topics... feel free to write a FAQ up so the Mods and make it an 'official' FAQ! :)

I usually, get my FAQs from, um, OverGrow... but, oh well...

BTW: Is OverGrow ever coming back online? Good thing I saved a couple of those usefull FAQs...

i have had 1 bud of her so far, it does the job but not much body high yet so i definatly need longer.
I hope overgrow does come back online those faqs kicked ass.

Thats only 1 plant people. Going on to 2 or 3 plants once i have harvested. I might even try 1 or 2 outdoors this summer

hmmmm tested my soils ph 2day and it 5.5ish :( might explain a few things

I have got my soil back to about ph 6.5-7 and theres signs of even more bud growth. So @least a week more i think, i am glad i didn't harvest on feb 2nd like i was thinking when i started this post.

yeah good job m8 cant wiat till its done ill come round and have a taste lol ive seen this plant from start to finish so it would be even better to smoke something ive seen growing lol hope i get results from mine like you m8 well im growing 2 clones off legalizdahurb's main plant that you can see here and mine arent going to bad im still in the veg cycle with mine and will carry this cycle for another 2 months befour turning to flower but as i say you have done a great job m8 for a first grow well at least now you have some kind of experiance under ya belt for the next grow hey :rasta:

Hey LEGAL, been reading a whole lot on growing ( indoor ), and saw that you were a first time grower yourself, and was just wondering if you could pass on a little knowledge to me..
read all your threads, and saw the pics of your white rhino from start to the most recent, and damn that bitch looks nice..
just have a few questions that i cannot seem to find the answers to
dont understand the difference in growing in soil or water.. always thought that hydro had to be grown through a water system, yours looks like it was just potted in soil..
also when i go to buy lights, what type should i buy, what wattage bulbs?
what should i buy for nutrients?
dont mean to bug you, just really want to start growing..
thanks for any help you or anyone else that reads this can give.

erm i only grow in soil as it is easier. I dont grow with hydroponics although i might give it a try 1 day.
I use envirolites because they r cheep, use less electricity and has less heat 2 worry about, although u can get better lights than these.
As for nutes iuse canna terra that i got from my local head shop, but there are that many out there i dont know whats good or not.
It can b a steap learning curve but u will get there in the end. i made that many mistakes this time round and i still have bud. Hopefully i will do better next time.
Just read lots and u will get there.

would you say that white widow grown in dirt is as potent as white widow grown hydroponically? of is there no comparison?

Dont really know as i don't do hydro.
People will argue about this all day but from what i can tell hydro grows faster and u get more bud, but in soil especially with organic's the bud tastes much better and might b a little more potent.

Its just an empty pot noodle carton I use 2 put yeast n sugar in 4 a little co2 if ne.
I wish u could go 2 the supermarket buy a pot 4 almost nothing. Add hot water and out comes a plant like that lol.

hey thats a NICE 1st grow man. i was wondering if ur soil had nutes in it or was it just plain soil. also was ur canna terra a fertilizer that u put in every watering?

I used mirical grow soil,(which is a no no i have heard now) and canna terra is a fertilizer i put in the water kusually every other water.

There was a thread not long ago, about a guy defending Miracle Grow... wasn't it Kush Over? In addition, Garden Knowm grew a kick-ass plant, using CFLs and Miracle Grow. Then again, he is gK... so don't expect to replicate his growing magic.

Anyways, I wouldn't use it, just because of all the things drummed into my head. But, your results speak for themselves.
