Does anybody know the difference between regular weed you get from a dealer and medical marijuana? Is there some potency difference (like medical is always at a certain potency?) or is it just a certain strain?

Medicinal grade marijuana is organically grown without using chemical pesticides. Quality genetics that have been properly dried and cured will always burn well and leave a fluffy white ash.

Some breeds are designed for use as medical cannabis, skunkx, white widow, med. man, these are a few that come to mind.

thanks, I'm pretty sure that medical grade marijuana is just the really strong stuff, so you don't have to smoke as much (and risk your health) to get the effects of the THC, or at least thats what everything is pointing to. Thanks for the responses

The illegal stuff may have all kinds of bad chemicals in it.

There is really no difference. People who use it for medical reasons do so mostly to relieve what ever ill symptoms they are having. Those who smoke it for recreation are using it for different reasons. I prefer Indica's. it's more narcotic that its Sativa sister.
