that state of the union shit pisses me off. the president says something and one side gives a standing ovation and the other side looks in disgust. the agree on some key issues, but no world peace, democrats? i mean, even if the president is just spittin' a bunch of bullshit they should atleast have the decency to ---- my bad. the president has been pretty fucked up lately.

You have to remember that most of the time he's talking about a certain initiative he is trying to get passed without saying it. So these things are not so cut and dry. Aside from the obvious, I noticed several times where it looked like bad press for the dems for that reason.

This is how it goes.
When Republicans are in office, it is majority republicans.
When Democrats are in office, it is a more level field of play.
You have to remember that most of the time he's talking about a certain initiative he is trying to get passed without saying it. So these things are not so cut and dry. Aside from the obvious, I noticed several times where it looked like bad press for the dems for that reason.

the reality is that both sides are stupid and just try to prevent the other from doing what they want to do, in doing so nothing gets accomplished, it's plain to see
