I want to give it a whirl and try growing. What i want to know is what soil i should use and what to fertilize with. I heard you can use the wrong kind of soil and fertilizers.

everything else i have read on.

Im gonna go into home depot and buy one or two pots to grow in with some soil and fertilizer and grow by a lake in my neighborhood. Im going to make sure i only go to the plant at night also.

Some soil with PH levels around 6.5 - 6.7!:)

For veg, you'll need a fert with high levels of N:)

BTW, you'll need light's as well! Good lights!:D I would recomend MH for veg, HPS for flower!:)

Make sure your soil source is properly drained! I flooded plants my first time by putting dirt in a bucket and growing, no holes in the bottom. Really bad.

I also recommend the Bible, which can be found at Barnes And Nobles for 14.95ish depending on your area. VERY helpful in the growing and harvesting of cannabis, as well as the production of hashish.

well, it depends on where you are in the world of course.. but you're right.. if it's winter where you are right now, you might want to wait another month or so before you consider planting outside

so would you plant at the beginning of spring or like halfway through? Or does it depend on how big you want you plants to be? Because im going to start an indoor grow when i have sorted oiut a few problems with heat....but think it would be interesting to try an outside grow aswell.

Outdoor planting at the beginning of the season can be tricky...especially if you're in a region where the climate isn't very consistant in the spring.. like...Canada...

Basically, you just want to make sure that it's not going below 0.C or 32.F or frosting at night.. Usually this is mid febuary to early march.. depending on how south you are.

Hello Smokey McPot:) Prehaps the best thing you can do is to vist the growing section on these boards, read everything (well read a lot).

To tell you the the truth love growing cannabis is pretty easy so long as you have a basic idea of what it involves before you start.
The more you prepare for a grow before hand the easier it is and there is everything you will ever need to know on these boards ;)

love mand xxx:)
