Hello Starchild :) Oh it happens love ;) , I get alsorts of things growing out of my compost, fungi, weeds, shoots, everything.
They just get into the compost and then when it's used for growing they all start sprouting :o

I had some shrooms growing too.
They started at the surface and then later a few grew out of the holes in my growbags.
Little purple and white ones.
