Some brand new technology for sound has come out called holophonic sound for computers. This is insane, just wait until 3 quarters of the way through... it feels like something's crawling down your arm!

That is so wierd. When it was circling me I thought, "Oh, okay, it's like surround sound" but then it started going up and down... and this is all through $20 stereo speakers. Hell of crazy stuff. I can't wait for it to start being integrated.

If you want to hear this technology used in music check out the album Foley Room by Amon Tobin, the album makes many uses of foleyed sounds and holophonic mixing, when listened to with headphones on the sounds of the album swirl all around your ears, and it's really interesting music, one of the best albums ive purchased this year.
