My first pipe broke last night because of my dumbass friend.
It cost 60 dollars and was a really awesome pipe which I've had for just about 4 monthes.

I feel like I lost a child...

Anyways, trying not to think about it too much, but was wondering if somehow it can get repaired? My friend said he might be able to sauder?(sp) it but doesn't really wanna risk doing that at school... I figured glue would be a failure...Any suggestions? The kid is only willing to pay for half of it...but I doubt he'll even do that.

if its metal, then go down to a hardware store and buy a soldering iron and some solder (might run u up to 30 bucks) and fix that bitch!

I would maybe do some more "convincing" until he says he'll pay all of it. I dont see how you have to talk someone into replacing something that wasn't theirs. That's just common courtesy. I would at least have him smoke you up a lot then..something..

Actually, those jankety-ass corncob pipes you can get for two bucks at the gas station hit damn well for a cheap piece; a lot better than a really cheap/small glass one, anyway.

Also, if it's a metal pipe, DO NOT SOLDER IT! If the solder heats up from smoking out of the pipe, not only will your pipe start to fall apart, but you'll also be inhaling tin, lead, and resin fumes-- a bad scene any way you look at it.

If the piece is glass, just buy a new one, as it isn't really worth repairing a $60 piece.

That said, lodge your foot up your "friend"'s ass for me, and tell him goodman3eb said hi.

The problem with repairing glass peices is that they'll never be as good as they once were, because of the way the glass is blown. Just keep the stem/bowl and scrap the rest. Then you can make a homemade one with the stem/bowl until you get a new peice.

Man, don't let him get off paying half. If he broke it he should replace it. If he wont never smoke him up again. That shit just isn't cool. I wouldn't recomend trying to fix it. Wont be the same, better to just get a new one.
