Hey everyone....

I have a 400w MH ballast, and a 400w HPS ballast. The HPS ballast can change up. It can take an HPS or an MH. Now, this is the deal; I have my baby girl under the 400w HPS convertable and she is almost finished flowering. And i was planning on letting blondie (plant that is veggin.) Veg until baby girl was finished and then put her in the other room under the HPS. The thing with her is she is an auto flower and is already fully trying to bud :( .Her pistils have begun to curl up and turn brown and i dont want this. (She is under 24/0) I was just wondering if it was cool to throw her into flowering under the MH bulb and then later bring her under the HPS.

Thanks for any input

Absolutely. Although I think maybe this would reduce yield by a little bit if kept on the MH for too long. So it will be fine regardless just it would be better off under the HPS. So the sooner you get it under the HPS the better. Goodluck.

Thank you Da1 but im thinkin about just movin Blondie into the same room as Baby Girl and attempting an SCrog type grow with a screen, but also using LST and tying it down. So instead of it being a bunch of clones, it will be one big plant tied to its side. I know it seems kind of funky, but im thinking if i just took it slow and bend it down i could manage. What do you think? If i decide to do this i will be starting a log and record it from start to finish.

Absolutely. I just don't really know why you waited for the other plant to finish if blondie started to flower already. I figured maybe you didn't have more room in the flowering chamber. Goodluck <3

some growers actually grow all the way through with MH...Especially now that there is such a thing as "Hortilux Blue"...have you checked the spectrum on that baby. I bought 2 1000w MH ballast kits after seeing the Massively broad spectrum it produced:D

you can use that MH, it isn't as high in lumens, and it will only effect the bud in looks and density, a little.

When you can, add the MH just for the increased light intensity...Imho.lw

Thanks all for your answers

-Da1, no it autoflowered on me when i was trying to keep it ass a mother plant to take clones from

-LW, MY 400w HPS ballast will hold both my Lumilux HPS bulb, and My MH Bulb. Because it can do this does that mean i can buy a bulb that will emit both spectrums for some really dense sticky buds?

Thanks again for all reply's
