It's no thing. I've had no long term effect (or short term). The job was quick and easy. It was funny at first, everything turned purple, I mean Everything. I couldn't figure why my dick looked beat up. But it didn't hurt at all LOL. I could have gone for sympathy cuz it looked like hell!

2 yrs later everything still works fine, never better!

I've had it done, and it's nothin. I actually assisted in the procedure, holding things in place. Set him up with icepacks for a few days, and don't ask him to do any heavy lifting during the recovery. The rest of your lives will be full of worry-free (and condom free) sex.

At some point in a lifetime commitment, there may come a time that both partners are sure that they don't want more children, and are tired of using unecessary and unreliable birth control methods. Vasectomy is a safe and responsible alternative.

JenniferK, I'm sorry for the insensitive things I said about girls on birth control. Just some old bitterness there. But my wife couldn't take the NuvaRing, either. Had depresion.

I don't think its fair to make girls take chemicals that alter their system and may have cancer risk & psycho effects, when a simple mechanical trick does the job.
