I've got a carbon can filter but the fan is noisy so I'm not going to keep it running that often, so I'm just wondering how much time I have to find something that I can use to cover or get rid of the odor when the fan isn't on.

Mine started to smell like strong reg plant (not MJ) like 25 days into VEg, and they really started to smell like MJ when the buds started to appear which was about one week or 2 weeks after flowering. Now all I do is take this thing my wife has its a small oil burner. All you do is burn small tea cup candles at the bottom and the scented oil burns at the top, that stuff is so strong the whole house smells like the oil scented candle but it usually only lasts untill the oil is still burning.

It mostly depends on the genetics of the strain. I had my first plants barely smell even during flowering. Occasionally they made my room smell a little but not enough to know what it was. Goodluck.

Yeah thats exactly what happend to me, i had some really good indica outdoors and it looked great, had a nice stone but didnt smell like anything. Its all about the strain. Personally, i love the stink tho!:rasta:

Thanks for the replies, and that aromat herapy candle deal is a great idea. I'll have one of those ready to go when the smell gets strong.
