my mom has found out that i smoked a few times now, and this time she has had it. she has taken my truck, my internet is off (so she thinks, i have another wireless adapter :D ), and worst of all she is totally not letting me get in contact with my best friend ever again because she knows he does it. she has threatened to even tell the school if i dont miraculously change my views on weed and stop doing it. i told her that i would not be changing my mind and i would rather be open with her about it than just tell her what she wants to hear but she will not accept anything but DRUG FREE! so im very pissed and i dont want to have to wait 1.5 years untill im 18 to start seeing my friends again and all, so do you guys have any advice? she thinks pot is the devil and my friend is the spawn of satan for doing it with me and not telling me about how terrible it is. :(

Ethically it's very wrong, however, I don't see any other way out of it, unless you want to be indepedent. Get a job, and buy your car, insurance, and then you can go out and see your friends.

I've never been in this situation myself as pot has always been accepted in our family, but there are a few options.

You could lie. That would be unethical, but if you want to do that, you can. Just tell her you don't smoke anymore ;), hide your stash really good, keep one pipe, or pack of papers, and hide them well! Hide your smoking well.

I would say become indepandant and move out, but you sound awfully young and not too many people are going to rent space to a 16yr old. Teenagers have bad reps.. Maybe move in with an older friend who has his own place? I did that when I was 17.

Other than that, maybe try and find some documents online about how virtually harmless MJ is, when it comes to long term effects and damage.

my mom caught me twice last year. She's cool with it now though. She doesn't care about me smoking weed so much. She just doesn't like me doing illegal things or whatever. We had a nice long talk one day when we evacuated from hurricane katrina. She's was telling me about growing up in the 60's and 70's. My parents definitely have their suspicions. My dog was clawing at my jacket last week abd my mom reached in and pulled out my blue bong. im 17... almost 18! but i just move out and bought a house in toronto.. its worked out really well :) i just rent out each of the rooms to my friends, and my morgage is almost paid off and iv got an advance on my car insurace :P... i reccomend this to anyone who can afford it.

Lol, thats like my dads opinion on pot. I never stopped even when he threatened to kick me out, and ect. you gotta show them by your actions your not going to stop smoking weed. I have been toking up in my room for like 3 years, and i can keep the smell to a minimum constantly. My rents dont know when i toke.

You gotta get good at toking secretley get a doob tube, and some febreeze.
