for those who wake and bake before class...

so i woke up at 2:30 this morning (because i had gone to bed at 5pm and i dont sleep like a normal person) and i was doing some reading for class and then decided to smoke a j and go to breakfast before class. the food was amazing, especially since i never eat breakfast, and i ate and came back and finished watching Formula 51, a mediocre movie w/ samuel l jackson about a drug deal. i then took a shower and got my shit together for class, went and knocked on a friends door to make sure she was up, and then saw a few other friends and started walking to class with them. we talked for a bit and then i left them to go to my building. as i approached the door and saw that i still had a few minutes before class began i thought of how proud of myself i was to actually make it to class on time (the first time this semester), and then i promplty realized i had walked all the way to class without a backpack or any sort of book or pen or pencil. i almost shrugged it off and kept going until i realized how strange it would be to just sit down in class with nothing on my desk. so with class about to begin i had to run on the icy paths all the way back to my dorm, go all the way up the stairs, grab my backpack which was sitting right by my door, and then run all the way back to class, come in late, and have to walk completely in front of the whole class room in front of the prof to fine the only empty seat, i then sat there sweaty, stoned, and self-concious for the rest of class.

moral of the story: wait...what was i talking about

I dont live on campus but I know exactly what your talking about. I smoke a j every morning b4 i go to school. then when I get about half way to school I realize I left something on (flat iron or something stupid like that) have to turn around and go all the way back home then when I finally do get to class I feel like I reek of weed and that everyone knows Im high. Im not like that normally though, Im usually the one that doesnt care if people know im high.

For the first half of my college daze, I was a good little person and went clear headed.... then I realized after going to a couple of my classes stoned that 1. nobody noticed, and 2. it made class go by fast so by the end of it all, I was getting baked out of my mind and making my daily hour drive to my classes and having a nice head change. I managed to be on time, too, but I'm totally anal about being where I'm supposed to be so I'm usually early. Instead of my grades dropping like I thought they would, I actually found that my stress level was extremely low to the point where the information flowed out of my brain onto the tests and essays and term papers and my grades improved. Long story short, I'm now relatively educated with an associates degree and I wish I smoked from the beginning of it all. :rasta:

Luckily I'm an art major, where not smoking makes you the outcast...lol, but seriously, I used to get ripped as hell before class, then show up and do some fairly decent stuff. Now I usually just wait till after my classes are over for the day, then get high as haleeee and do my shit at home. I personally have a 10X better smoke knowing I dont have to go to class or do any school work. There are times that a buddy will want to go smoke before class, and then I'll do that. :stoned:

i know how u feel man. when we usually get stoned before school or at lunch, it seems that i am always the last one walking into class like 5 min late, and everyone knows except the teacher. then everyone tries to trip u out really bad. but wake and bake is the best.

lol why don't you sleep normal hours?? just out of curiosity, I just don't see how you could do that while in college.

I don't smoke up before classes since I wake up and go, and I am rushed enough as it is in the morning. But last year one term I had a 2:30 class and was ditching morning classes allll the time so me and my buds would sess. at 1:30 so I always went to the class stoned... it definitely made the class a lot more interesting, but since it was Brit lit. I got a D in it lol.

Now I only toke and go to class very rarely.. but now when I do it it's more fun lol :stoned:

i never really waked and baked and went to school as i was so tired all the time i would fall asleep during all my first classes. but i would almost always smoke during lunch i was never late and i knew people in the class knew i was high ass hell cause the teacher would always call on me and i would be laughing at the stupidest shit ever

driving stoned is nothing. in fact, you generally drive better cause you keep yourself more aware so you dont fuck up.

some of my friends and i actually consider this one section of the high way a 'smoking spot' cause we've smoked so many times while driving haha, but yeah high driving is totally easy, cause ur so much more worried about fucking up then when ur sober

I used to go to alot of my classes with nothing more than a scrap of paper and a pen in my pocket in case the teacher gave out any assignments or something.

And on smoking before class: I'm with most of the people in this post... if you smoke before class, you're a whole lot less stressed out, and the class won't piss you off as much. One time when a buddy and I smoked before a 2 1/2 hour Ethics class, he ended up taking 8 pages of notes because "I knew I wouldn't remember anything if I didn't"...

All the semesters in college when I smoked all the time were the ones where I had my highest GPA.

I used to wake and bake before school almost every day and I always got A's... and now that I dont do it anymore (low on money, i guess) my grades have been dropping. Im always stressed out now and just one period seems like hell...

I think ill be going back to it.

done it a few times, it was alright i guess... i usually just buy 10 adderall a week for 10 dollars, 2 a day, 5 days, 40 a month or so. not bad for me cause i have a good job, and i absorb so much more from school. i'm doing better than i've ever done on it, and my parents have no idea. i should probably just get a prescription but fuck that, i don't want to tell them :)

my moms a bitch i took ritalin for like a month at the beginning of the year. It helped so fucking much, but it also made me really sweaty and that wasnt worth it so I stopped taking it. My mom doesnt want me to take adderall cuz you can snort it and shit but I honestly wouldnt do that cuz i would want to take it for school. She said that I dont need it but I think I do because I was getting A's and now im getting B's. Im a frikin smart kid and my doctor said that when I was younger I still had ADD but i was so smart that i compensated for it, and now that school is harder I cant do that anymore. Yah, I'm kinda glad I don't smoke before class. Sure, it makes time go faster or just not seem as boring to some, but it's a waste of a high when I could wait till after it's over to smoke.
