I know I am more inclined to cry if I have been smoking the day before and have none the following day and watch a movie.... some emotional link to not having any green I guess - but I have noticed I am more sensitive when I have my "fasting" days or periods...
When I am stoned, sensitivity for movies decreases massively (except for comedy and music), but sensitivity to other people increases in conversation, unless I am that stoned I can't bring myself to speak!!

The thing is men are mroe inclined to show upset in a way otehr than crying, that with the stigma of men crying.

I use to cry when I watched movies, TV and stuff, but not so much anymore for some reason. I guess I just don't really care for the sad saps on TV.
I could punch a really annoying kid in the head and feel great about it, but if I did that to an annoying cat, I'd feel bad. Maybe I'm going insane or something

I rarely cry necause I rarely have a good reason to. I find myself seeing through acting on TV too much, so TV doesn't provoke much emotion for me. I don't listen to songs that make me cry really, I listen to high energy, angry music, or relaxed weed music.

Howdy mr pink,
I reckon that it's okay, but I wasn't raised that way..my old man used to whip my brother and I,with his belt and if we cried or showed pain,he'd hit us a couple times more. He didn't believe in men crying or showing pain, and to this day,I'm still pretty much that way. I've worked with pain that would make most grown men at least whimper, like the night I was workin on a drilling rig and dislocated my right shoulder..3 times and I had to pop it back in and make one-handed connections, with my left hand..I finished the tower out and then went to the hospital. The doctor didn't believe that I had dislocated my shoulder and popped it back in 3 times, because I wasn't sittin around whimpering or crying from the pain. In that instance,I reckon that I should have expressed my pain better, but I figured the doc would take my word about it,instead,he thought I was just making up a story to git drugs for pain.
I would never cry in public, and I rarely cry,I have shed some tears at a few funerals, but I was doing my dangdest not to !
Have a good one ...

Bloke just means a man, but it normally refers to a typical mans man. As in if you like to drink, watch football etc. you'd be described as a bloke but in the context of this thread it just means male.

Wow torog thats a good story, soldiering on through the pain.
Some pain is physical, but the worst is mental pain.

There is nothing wrong with a man crying as long as they aren't blubbering all the time over nothing. My man cried when he first told me he loved me and I thought that was sweet:)

Howdy Robert,
Aye ..tis true..mental pain often trumps the physical..thank God--that we have a miraculous plant like marijuana, that eases both. :)
Have a good one !

lol...me too...i wouldn't just hit somone who was annoying me though...they'd have to REALLY push me for me to use violence...
I haven't cried in a while....
...i don't think there is anything wrong with it...infact looking back its been quite funny when i have just broken down in tears in the past and seeing the shock on everyone's face...
I normally don't know why i cry when I do.....i never cry in films or songs....it's just been a wave of emotion.

yeah dude its allright for blokes to cry, we r still human, it just shows u have empathy and passion, i cry too at films and get really emotional towards music especially Staind :D i've cried at a few of their songs, not blubbering or anything (not that i think thats wrong) just like a few tears in my eyes.
Peace :D
