I have a question about sleep.
Say if this was my NEW sleep routine, go bed at 7pm after school, get up at 2am, stay up the rest of the night, go to school, get back home, sleep at 7pm, get up at 2am and so on, would that be considered unhealthy for my phyical or mental state?
I've talked to P.E.N.G.U.I.N about it on MSN and he said that it would not effect my mental or phyical state in anyway as long as i get sleep within the 24 hours (which i would be doing if i had that as a routine)
Someone else also said that you will know if it effect's your health due to getting depressed from lack of light. But i would be going school and getting plently of light, and if i did go bed at 7pm it would be dark at that time anyway.
Whats everyone else's in-put on this? If anyone could provide me with link's on this sort of routin and health of it as well that would be great. Thanks.

In some societys and cultures it is thought that every hour you sleep before midnight equals too almost twice as much rest. For example going to bed at 10:00 and waking up at 7:00, will be more refreshing then going to bed at 12:00 and waking up at 9:00 even though it is techniqually the same amount of sleep.
Is this theory true? Well from my personal expierence it feels right, so your schedule sounds pretty good if you can keep it up. You might want to think about getting a little bit more sleep. Maybe wake up at 3:00 instead.. Sounds pretty healthy but also a bit routine and will restrict a lot of your freestime.
PS. Sometimes I go to bed like at 9:00 wake up at 5:00 and smoke before everyone wakes up, one of the most peaceful times of the day imo. Just an idea..

Thanks for the advice man, damn, like 13 views and only 1 person replied. Anyway that sounds cool, and you even said you find it feels better as well even though you get same amount of sleep? I woke up about 3pm today, and iv got to go get ready for school in a few hours. Its gonna suck and im gonna be tired. But once i get home im gonna have dinner and go bed at 7pm so i have time to talk to mates and stuff online. But will i feel grogy again after waking up about 3am? Thats 8 hours of total sleep. I'm also worried my dad will disturb my sleep by waking me up or something. But i will defintly try.

Ok, here is waht I know about sleep.
Sleep is like a drug, or food or w/e, the path of least resitance (which is 99% of people), people tend to over indulge. I think a block of solid sleep is a luxury, afforded only to the rich fat small balls final hour types (renegade unclean call for the gun machine...sigh nevermind, its a reference from SOMETHING, SOMEWHERE). Most popele do not need a block of sleep, nor do they need 8 hours, thats 56 hours a week!!!! That is a sleep glut, and that excess causes you to be slow in the morning and crave it when the "high" of sleep wears thin.
Now I present to you an alternative; polyphasic sleep, its a state where you do not sleep solid blocks of time, you merely take naps as long as you feel you "need" when you need them, and only that.
For example I sleep around an hour a day, just a nap here, a nap there, some days up to 2 hours, so more like 14 hours a week. I am always rested, and have plenty of time to eat well, and excercise and work 2 full jobs/run business stuff. I am always perky and I don't take any drugs that would help with that (just a burner).
The concept is that people over the millenia have done what is easiest, and safest. People could not hunt during hte night, and could not do shit or w/e they needed to. Well enter the new millenia and all that, we are now t he premier hunter in the night, everywhere, and now we "can" be awake almost all hte time, and only grow stronger and into better positions of sucess because of it. The sleepy minded non-changers, or proles as an orwell fan would duckspit, they keep sleeping the smae pattern thath as been presented them, in the form it has always been done. BUZZZ! wrong!
Sleep is an individual thing, and you take what you need. For example I do some handyman shit fora luxury home builder, I work 11 hours there a day, and I take a nap somewhere at the mid point, while the less organised oflk go and eat their sandwich truck garbage. I snack as I go. I skip the heavy meal sleep cycle and go right into production all day long, that way even if someone caught me sleeping (im too careful for that) I could argue "you eat and take breaks, I work and nap for a hal hour, whats the diff" and the quality of my product will speak for itself.
My humble and sincere suggestion, is you try and cut out the big block of sleep, it will only make you like everyone else eventually, trying to budget your life on 2/3rd's of your time (66.6ad infinitum to the educated folk ^^)>
40 minute naps will allow you to reach rem sleep, attain the wakefulness, and space out the "defrag" process of your subconscious, to allow you to process the information consciously as it is storedi n its basic form. You can shape your health and HARVEST THE ETERNAL DAY!
Well thats my 2 cents.

Well, i feel real tired now but its like 7am and i woke up today at like 3pm. I tried doing this routine before and it did'nt go down very well, cus i felt tired all the time, i went bed at 7pm and woke up at 12am, but even when i woke up i think i felt tired. Anyway, do u think its cus my natural bio clock was telling me its time to go bed? cus i think my natural clock just needs resetting, how long would it take to do that?

Ok, if your gonna watch soaps, you may as well not sleep, just enjoy your last days sucking cock and smoking crack, cause that is more of a life then zoning out on the tube :p
Im just playing, Im fraccaus and circomlocuitously damning by virtue of obtenebration; your shadow is what engulfs you?
as long as u get into routine with the same amount of sleep youd of had anyway it wouldnt really matter, think about people that work nights.
although may i ask why the fuck do you want to do this lol

that's an interesting theory. i can remember waking up refreshed on nights that i went to sleep before twelve, but shit...that happens probably once every year or so. my sleep schedule as of lately has been going to bed between 3 am - 6 am and waking up in the late afternoon. i suppose the three hours after-noon would be considered twice as restful?

Why do you want that routine anyway? It won't do anything to your mental/physical health.

 To the wannabe Vampire I'll have to disagre with your logic. But first of all, you fail to mention your age, grade. or living situation (siblings, only child....) Secondly, what in the hell will you be doing? (except screwing, getting high or getting thrown in jail at that hour) It seems to me that you will also be a very lonely person with that schedule. I seem to remember when I was in school, my clique and me did most of our damage between the hours of 7pm and 11:30pm. And third and most importantly of all (in my humble opinion) the better selection of girls were out with the light and early night. :pimp: Soooooooooooooooooooo, you make the call.. Later player, I mean playerless.. :stoned:
