You use it at the first sign of male flowers right on the male flower it's self.
It won't affect the other flowers.
Sorry to hear you have a hermie dude but that stuff is better then trashing them like the old day's. :)

Reverse for sure and Superbud too to control the height and make them stop growing taller.
There is Phosphoload as well but again it's to expensive for 90% of the growers these day's.
I do hear that Humbolt county growers has the same product for less money it's called Bush Master. It's cheaper then the SuperBud from Dutch Masters but does the same thing. If

Penetrator is like anti-wilt (not the same but same idea) it's a base product that allows other product to stick to the plant for full benefit of use. It works very well with foil spray mixtures too.

dutch master "faminizer" is ment to be applyed at the start of sexing if you already have a hermi or male pollen you need a product called "Bud Wise" its another faminizing agent but will remove male pollen sacks "pollen knock off" dont get the two mixed up they do two different things :rasta:

yeah, you are...cause I just went to buy some and saw that I was going to have to order penetrator...too!..let us know about your progress...I am ordering some tonight...these crosses just seem to hermie
Did you know...I was reading Jorge's Bible and he was talking about when dutch passion...I believe...introduced feminized seeds...BIG NOTE: In his original tests and trials...he found that hps lighting during early development
led to more MALES popping up, then those under Metal Halide...tidbit of info.lw

OK...It took me awhile to figure out what they meant:confused:
You can use reverse by itself...But, the co. recommends the use of penetrator for all it's/your foliar needs.
Apparently it was desgned to "knockdown male flowers", but can also be used as a prohibitor before flower phase.
If you mix...and it took me awhile to get this; Add 10ml penetrator to 1 liter of reverse. I am going to order penetrator now that I understand how to use products; But I am not waiting!!! Spraying with just the reverse tonight after lights out:smokin: :stoned:
How is it working for the rest of you? later.lw

Its working great for me. Now I know why they recommend the penetrator:question: Because that stuff runs off the plants alot. I prob. wouldve saved more Reverse if I had used the Penetrator along with it. So far no signs of Hermies(still keeping my fingers crossed,1st grow) since I picked off the 5 from my 2 plants. I found that 2 plants were Hermies about the 2nd or 3rd week of flowering and picked off the pods, Then about 10 days ago I sprayed the whole crop from top to bottom with the Reverse(now I cant see within all the buds for hermies) but I see no signs of hermies.. The buds are swelling up, hairs are white and buds are producing resin:D I just hope theirs no more hermies. I am now on my 5th week of flowering so I will see what happens:dance:

actually, according to dutch master, It is to knockdown male flowers. They added that you could, if you wanted to, use reverse as a prohibitor prior to
flower...

So is the feminizer and reverse the same product?
yes...and you need penetrator to carry it throuhgh the cuticle layer and 2ndary membrane for more consistent results

BDA, Zandor...did you spray plants after lights out or with lights on? I was considering stopping my light mover on the far end of flower chamber and spraying my SOS plant...what do you think?
I do realize that generally, you DO NOT spray your babies, when the lights are on.
BukDatAss
02-04-2006, 10:18 PM
I did it with the lights on but I didnt have the lights hitting the plants directly on it with a nice breeze of the fan and they were fine. It dried up pretty quick I would say about a half hour and then I placed them back to their normal setting.
Latewood:question: Since I was so close to Harvest I wanted to know a good way of drying and curing? How and how long?

1 more question for nutes whast a good soil fert for flowering.. What would you recommend? I used jamican bat guano for flower along with slight dosage of cactus plus.. BK recommended tigerbloom. What would u use and how would u mix it up. I would like to know for my next grow

I drenched 2 hermie's 1sexy orange skunk and 1 misty blue
the Misty blue is a Knarly Single Kola and the The SOS is a mother turned out, to flower & is a beautiful thriving fem in
week 6f. I do still have to watch for pollen sacks, but they went away for the most part.

Damn that didnt happen in my case. Most of my plants got seeds I thing 3 out of 5. However there werent that many seeds but there were a few of them. I used my reverse late however because I did find out late about it. When did you add yours? I saw in the chart that you should spray the 1s n 3rd week of 12/12 and I sprayed at the end of the 3rd week of 12/12 then another spray 7 days later, it said 10 days but since I was late I figured I would hurry up and do it sooner.
So did you finish ur grow the reverse products yet? I just want to know what week you added the reverse and how many times u sprayed it? Thanks for the info

I sprayed after I saw the pollen sacks...after further inspection this evening, it appears that I did still have some, but I did get a great plant back and I don't have alot of seeds, but I still have a week to 3 weeks depending on how I play it. Sorry I missed your drying/curing Q, and your nute recipe request. I have posted in most of my grow threads what I mix up.
here is a shopping list. figure out what you need or can afford...
Advanced Nutrients or General Hydroponics 3-part.
or...if you want to go organic get; Pure blend pro
I add: all the way to flush
liquid karma
calmag+
hygrozyme
In flower...same stuff plus
1st week-bud blood
2nd-5th week big bud
6th-7th week overdrive
8th or ninth week, if necessary, final phase or any pro flush agent.
Drying/Curing
I dry by trimming all big fan leaves and hanging whole or parts of plants in the dark with a indirect mild breeze for a week or so, waiting until branch snaps!, like a twig, then I put them in paper bags or cardboard boxes for another week. (this pulls the last of the moisture out of the plants) After that I put them in mason jars in the dark, and let them cure. the longer you hold off, the better smoke will be. If you wait at least a month, You won't believe the difference, from smoking it soon as it dries.

will adding this to a plant turn it female if itstops the male flowers ?

Reverse stops a female plant from turning hermie once it does. You can pick off the pollen sacks by hand but this is easer.
Yes it does work.
There is also a product called Bushmaster as well from Humbolt nutrients co. A little less money and does the same thing they say. Search for it on better grow hydro's site.

No it cant turn a male plant into a female plant. Its suppose to prevent/knock off male pollon sacks (hermies) from female plants

I just wanted to know cause I'm guessing you can have a better inspection on the crop as far as seeds go to see if you think the product really worked for you. I just wanted to know if you think its worth keeping a hermie next time around.
Ok thanks for looking into adding the solution
