I am a firm believer in HID lighting. I use a 250 Metal Halide at that stage, but hey that will do the trick for now. You know ur gonna need some serious lighting in a week right? keep growing pal. :thumbsup:

175watt MD all the way up to 400watt MD and a 400watt HPS to flower with

MD? ive never heard of that...if you mean MH then cool, if not i would suggest trying to get that HPS on them. its not as good as a MH for VEG. but its a lot better than those cfl's. Maybe wait a few more days till the plants get a little bit bigger. but the hps puts out a lot of light + heat so i dont know if that garbage can is safe. if you decide to hook up that hps make sure you allow sufficient space between the light and anything that might burn. good luck!
