Aight well im gunna make this short i just need advice since this is my first time with a runin with the law. basicly me and my buddy were chillin under a deck by a apartment complex because it was raining out and we didnt want to get wet. the cops came under the impression that me and my buddy were spying on some lady who called them. They immedailty told us to get down with their weapons pointed at us, but i guees that had reason since my buddy made some kind of movement. They searched us and found a GB top I had found earlier and picked it up. they then took us to jail and strip seachred us etc and didnt find anything else, because we didnt have anything else. I got charged with peeping(misdeamor) and a summons for possesion. I was just wondering if I should get a lawyer and if it is likely that the gb top can be dropped. this is my frist time offence but they know i have previously smoked because the college i go to has record of it. also i think its bs that i could possibly get charged for fucking peeping when all i wanted to do was to chill and not get drenched. any advice would be nice...

Well first if you weren't trespassing and since it was raining, you were just seeking shelter. I'd hire a lawyer and perhaps he'll make the case that they didn't really have the right to arrest you. I dunno.

I know afew ex cops and they will tell you it's all about EGO and CONTROL . Fireman are real true heroes , Who actually save lives And the majority of them are'nt on a power ego trip go figure. Many cops were picked on ,and beat up on in there youth , OR were the school nerds who never could get a girls attention , So now the badge and gun is used as an extention of there penis in there adult life . Now of course there is always exception to the rules but I whole heartly believe that is the general concenses.;)

I agree, fire fighters are heros. I was one at one time. Hardest thing I've ever done, didnt want to stop, injured on the job. Anyway, a peeping charge is a sex crime, DONT ever go to jail/prison on one of those. That is way bad news, fight this one with every dollar you have, get a lawyer and listen to what he wants you to do and do it. Even though this is a penny ante charge it could hold future conesquences. Get labeled a perv and it sticks.

damn man, thats a shitty deal. Just wondering, but how old are you? And I would plan on putting that old lady out of her misery soon. From what it sounds like, even a sub-par lawyer could easily make a healthy case as to why you were on that patio. Another question, was it your buddy's place, or not? If not, it might be a little tougher to prove. Jesus, I really hate nosey old people with nothing better to do.
