If you place the paper towel with the seeds onto some sort of dish or saucer, and then cover the whole set up with plastic wrap it will usually stay wet with no additional water. Usually if the seeds have not spouted at all you will be just fine. If the seeds have sprouted and the white root tip is brown and dried out, there is a good chance that the seed is a goner. Consider using a Jiffy-Pot greenhouse for future attempts, this is a plastic container and peat pellets that hold a perfect amount of moisture for almost any vegetable or flower seeds.

They should be fine.Just mist the paper several times a day to keep them moist. Then they should germinate within a few days.

And in today's Cheap But Useful section we have... the used plastic tub.
Which ever low fat spread you buy these days, nobody uses real butter except me I think, clean out the tub in hot water. Fold a paper towel to fit the bottom, place in seeds, rip a piece of paper towel to fit over the seeds, dribble a quarter strength mix of whatever fert your using over the seeds/towels until wet all round. Close lid of tub, place in dark warm place, leave alone for two days, done.

peace :)
