Having a vote-ban system?

Would be a good idea to maybe have a ban vote system. sometimes there are members really annoying. this way we could submit his name, and make a vote.

Yeah one of the MODS should set up a poll and we can vote for if we want a ban system and than we can have a thread and people will choose who sould be banned than another poll will be set up with simple no ban or yes ban.??

I don't know about here, but mods in general are no more mature than others in message boards, as a whole. I've had many threads shut down out of spite on ramprage, I've even had a guy count-down to midnight to close a thread just 'cause he felt like it. I've been banned from teenspot for telling this turdball mod named tyler that he was, and I quote, "Being perceived as a jackass," because of his extreme biased towards the Apple Ipod!!

In fact, I command all who are good boards.cannabis.com users to flood teenspot with tons of threads about how much they suck!! High ho silver!!

This site needs a little work I go to sections and see threads in the wrong place all the time, a few people need to be banned (not naming anyone but I bet you can guess who). I know the MODS work hard but mabye there not noticing what I'm seeing.

People that try to destroy the place shouldnt be allowed. I think there are cases when morons should be banned if they spread negativity or lies.

there's a site i often go to (allakhazam.com for ffxi) that has something similar (or had similar til they removed it) it doesn't work very well, it's a good idea on paper (or through typing) but it doesn't really work... because alot of people just do it out of spite, or just for fun, or for whatever reason, it doesn't actually work like you'd think... i mean there would be a way to make it work... that would be, not quite a vote to ban system, more like the person gets so many negative votes, (where each user who puts in a negative vote MUST put in a specific reason) and mods review the total votes constantly, and if they have good grounds, and majority of the votes decide they should be banned, the mod goes and checks and sees if what they person is being accused of is in real, then they get banned.. but in order for this to work effectively... like half the site would have to be mods... so the whole idea just wouldn't work...
