We are going to take our Blueberry Jack Herer and Our Misty Blue, (fathered by Sagarmatha's Champion Blueberry Male, and Original Misty) and re-pot them from 1/2 gallon to 3 gallon pots.
...we are going to attempt to do this with as little stress as possible.
1. this is what I use. all available @ wally's
2. 3g pot w/ orchid mix on top of layer of lava rock. (sorry, already covered the lavarock) :p
3. mix in 10% peat moss (orchid mix drains so well, I added the peat to dampen it a bit)
4. 20% perlite (what the hell, can't hurt) ;)
5. All mixed up!

1. Adding ph'd ROwater
2. Mix to dampen up contents of entire pot (careful not to disturb Lava rock on bottom)
3. We ready our next pot
4. All filled up and moist. Just the way we like it. :)
5. We set old size pot on top of new mix...this is the depth we want our young rootball to sit at.

1. we have placed 'dummy' pot in both 3g pots and are ready to back-fill
2. We backfill almost to the top of 'dummy' pot
3. both pots back-filled...I add more water to help hold together potting-mix
4. now we pull our 'dummy pot and we have a nice sized hole to fit our 1/2g
plant in...fill hole with perlite and sprinkle rooting powder around and down in it to enhance new root growth.
5. Now take a long knife and cut around edge of pot so that nothing sticks
when you try and pop out rootball...

1. take firm grip at base of stem...turn pot almost upside down and 'Pop' out
rootball
2. Nice white healthy roots...notice lava rock, caught up in roots...I try to remove lava rocks, but DO NOT tear up your roots in order to do so.
3. place rootball and plant in new hole you made with your 1/2g pots...
4. Once in place, I take a knife and poke it sideways into rootball to break a few roots and promote new root growth...some people scrape their rootballs with a garden fork or somrthing to break up roots. :)
pix are taking forever this AM...let me vaporize :smokin: some of this BBJack you all are seeing re-planted...OK...OK... :stoned:

1. I fill intop with a thin layer of peat to settle on top...
2. Put marble rocks on top to decrease erosion from watering...and, also for it's reflective quality
3. Blueberry Jack herer and Misty Blue ready for transition phase...I re-veg for one more week...then change to 12/12 and flush...followed by 1st week of flower/Bud Blood week...
4. 1 week later under 400w MH sunmaster warm deluxe
5. 1 month later under 1000w hps hortilux :)
here we go again...must be teeny bopper time...waitin' on pix
recipe used for flower: Advanced nutrients 3-part(copy of gh 3-part), Voodoo Juice(2 wks only)...Liquid Karma, CalMag+, Fossil Fuel, & Bud Blood(1st wk only),
same recipe; Big Bud for 4wks, last wk of Voodoo Juice...I add weeks here if necessary, due to trichomes maturity...
Finish with overdrive(wk6-7), drop grow from recipe...then final phase flush.

This is brilliant...now I really feel like a jerk for doubting you...
I'm off to buy some peatmoss and a bag of those marble rocks.
Had to use cheap soil for this grow so that peat on top with those rocks should solve my cheap soil problem.
