Yeah I know one of my friends almost killed himself. I personally love DXM but so many people don't take the time to research it and end up in the ER getting their stomach pumped.

DXM

Chemical Name: Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide (DXM Hbr)

Drug Class: Psychadelic/Hallucinagen

Dose: 250-1000 milligrams (1000 only for EXPERIENCED users)

Drug form: Found in cough medicines in either liquid or geltab form. Sometimes sold pure in pills.

Experience: Mild to extreme hallucinations, hallucinations seem as though they're just a part of life. Euphoria (feeling good, feeling great). Dulled Senses (usually respiratory). Nausea, having a bucket handy is reccommended.

Other info: DXM is widely bought over the counter as a cough medicine. It acts as a cough supressant by numbing your mind's ability to process the sensation that causes you to cough. In high doses, however, it is a relatively safe hallucinagen. It is harsh on the stomach, however, and users often experience extreme nausea.

Warnings: Make sure you can handle the amount of DXM you're taking. DXM highs range from euphoria to an LSD-like experience. I strongly recommend starting with smaller doses and working your way up.
Only use medicines that contain Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide (DXM Hbr) as the active ingredient. Commonly, pain relievers such as acetaminophen and expectorants such as pseudoephedrine. While taking massive amounts of DXM past the pharmeceutical standards is acceptable, taking massive amounts of any other medicine is NOT. You could very easily cause yourself irreperable liver damage, extreme blood thinning, and more side effects including death. Don't risk using a DXM-containing product recreationally if it contains any other ingredients.

If anyone knows about the plateus, please post them. I'm not too sure on them.

I always thought DXM was considered a disassociative...like ketamine... but it does make u hallucinate and is very psychadelic


I shall tell about the 4 awesome platues...
(all dosages and descriptions are based on my own experiences, they will probably be a bit different for you)

1st Platue - 100-200mg
-Feeling of dizzyness and tallness, mild, you arent fucked out of your mind but you can tell something is different. I don't actually consider it being "high" on DXM cuz its barely anything

2nd Platue - 200-450mg
-Awesome, you are trippin and walls seem to "breathe" + other mild hallucinations such as things popping out at you, things moving, other stuff, i usually stare at things for a long time, and 5 minutes can seem like 5 hours. I cant really explain what the feeling is like but its really cool. Also, you may have Out of Body Experiences but it is not likely.

3rd Platue-450-850mg
-Defenitely strong hallucinations, things melt before your eyes, you start to see shapes and sorta "feel" them inside of you, i cant explain that. You will probably have an OBE (out of body exp.) and if that happens it will be really freaky at first but if know whats happeneing and you let it happen, its really cool. If you are too freaked out just rub your arms with your hands and just gain back your contact and feelings to your body.

4th Platue - 850mg+
-LSD-like hallucinations, a whole room can turn into a cave or a castle or a jungle, and there is chance of having a bad trip. Ive never gone to this platue but Its said to be stronger than acid. Only go to this platue if you know wtf you are doing and have taken the proper precautions...
