hey now! these posts are great...lots of good info. was wondering if you all could help me out. I just started a very small grow room and was wondering if you could let me know what I should expect in terms of yield amounts...
its in my closet. Its measures 2 1/2 feet by 1 1/2 feet. I am using all fluorescents for various reasons. There are three plants that are all in the second week of flowering (about 2 feet tall each, look very healthy and can already tell they are females). Each plant is in a 8-8-8 bucket. Good ventilation and a fan to keep the temp down. Good care and close attention paid always :) Now, for the all important light set up....1 24 (20 watt) inch wide spectrum tube fluorescent. 1 25 inch wide spectrum tube fluorescent (33 watts). Both tubes are mounted vertically very close to the plants. Also on the sides are three 25 watt compact fluorescents. Than, over head, are three 45 watt compact fluorescents (each give off almost 3000 lumens) rated at 2700K (good temp for flowering I believe).
So, there is a total of 264 true fluorescent watts....almost all in the red spectrum. They give off almost 15000 lumens.
I know that HPS is the way to go for flowering, but do you think this will do? I know the seeds are very good, but not sure what strain. I was just curious what I should expect to yield (and quality) and if there was any way of improving that amount. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
