Best way to store dro..

My friends were informing me that it's good to keep it in a cool, moist place so that it can cure. I was thinking of leaving it in my fridge or freezer. Any tips on whether this is a good idea or not? I'd put it in a container that is..sort of airtight.

mason jar that is...airtight. Putting it in the fridge wouldn't be a bad idea, and its good to store it a long time like that.

i heard putting weed in a fridge for storage causes moisture - which can lead to mold

i probably suggest wrapping the buds in a thin paper or something to keep them from getting overly moist

ehh it depends i guess. I wrap up my bud really good, then into the mason jars to be stored in the crisper.

I usually put mine inside a tuperware and then shove it into the back of my closet and it lasts for a few weeks unless I get a bad craving...

Depends on how long you need to store the herb. If you have say an oz. Bagged and boxed away in a cool room (atleast not overly warm) should work just fine. Even a pound, smoked regularly and stored in a jar tucked away from direct heat/light has proved allright for those I know. But let's say you rack in a giant crop, or don't smoke heavily or on a regular bases and jsut bought a pound; then storage in a freezer or fridge proves to be just fine. Just make sure it's bagged (I've known people to wrp a giant 'block' of it in plastic wrap; then they would just tuck it away in their freezer. Just make sure the tempatures aren't low enough that frost will form I guess, I'm pretty sure they never had problems with that.

umm i think mason jars would eb good..and you say if you pulled in a huge crop..damn i thought a pound was huge crop lol

I always found viles... but it depends how much you have. If its anywhere from a gram to a quarter, I would say a vile. But anything over in a bag, a Mason Jar, and in the fridge, and if you cant put your weed in the fridge put it in a cold, and dark place.

Putting weed in the freezer makes the quality lower.

If your intention is to cure, get a couple mason (jelly) jars and put your bud in. Open the jars once a day to allow the air to change and put them in a dark, dry place. I've never heard of someone curing in the fridge. The freezer is definitely a bad idea because when plant cells freeze they rupture turning your bud into a sloppy mess.

Just do some research and be wary of stories told while passing a doob.
