So, even though we all seem to enjoy bud, there seems to be quite a lot of variation in other psychotropics here on cannabis.com.

I myself always stick to hallucinogens. Mostly the more natural ones, although I've decided to try LSD sometime soon because, hey let's face it, it's the hallucinogen to which all others are compared.
Anyway, so hallucinogens I understand. Using a drug to see things in a different way. A new perspective. A new understanding. Rock on.
I don't get the appeal of drugs like E. I mean, take a drug to feel happy? Shouldn't you be able to do that on your own?

And meth? What's up with that?

In other words, what do you e-tards and crack addicts feel like you get out of it? :dance:

Coke is the most amazing drug if have ever done in my life. I'm not even a coke head and i love it. If you do coke dont do a bunch in one line, do a small line to get up and then just do bumps to stay up. if you arent stupid you wont OD

Shrooms and LSD are fun. E is good, too; most people who have never tried it thinks it sounds lame... "it just makes you happy," after all. There's actually a lot more to rolling than that. The emotional openness it facilitates is a rather unique experience.

I haven't dabbled in the hallucinogens yet, although i plan on it soon. Atfirst, I had the same opinions about E as you. "why would I want a drug that just makes me happy?"

I tried it two weeks ago, and it does way more than make you happy. It does help you see things in different ways, or atleast it has for me.

E makes you at peace with the world and everyone you know, e makes you love everyone and everyone love you, and its great to do anything on E... i dunno i love it great to dance with and do anything, make new friends, makes you lose your caution and opens you to new things, you may be bisexual and not even know it

Yip. It isnt fake happiness, its your own seratonin, flooding through your brain and veins instead of trickling through them like it does every day. Its not the pill itself that contains the 'euphoria' it contains a chemical which causes your own brain to release its own chemicals in bulk.

Only people that havent tried E diss it, if you were to take a pill, and I mean a GOOD pill, you wouldnt be calling people E-tards and shit. You would understand why over 1 million people in Britain pop pills every weekend - and thats just a tiny island, never mind the rest of the world.

Just because someone prefers 1 drug over another, doesnt make them retarded or whatever. I'm intelligent, I hold down 2 jobs, have high amibtions and goals - just because I like to feel amazing once in a while doesnt make me a bad person. I'm not getting offended by your post, I just dont like when people make comments like that without even trying something. DXM doesnt appeal to me - but I wouldnt think bad of anyone else for wanting to get high off it, everyone is different, and while one person might prefer being slumped stoned & munchied on their couch, too lazy to get up and do stuff, the other person might prefer taking 1 pill, gaining energy, love, compassion, empathy and so much more while still appearing normal to other people.

Every drug has its ups, or people wouldn't do them. If you don't use drugs, cannabis.com is the wrong place to come. It's a website about a drug. The idea that some drugs are "better" or "more ethical" than others is ridiculous. No drug will really hurt you if used correctly, the problem is that some drugs are very hard to use correctly.

I've always been very curious about K and PCP because when I was younger I got very sick and went into kind of a natural dissociative state for 30-40 minutes. The experience can't really be described, but I've always wondered if chemical dissociatives could bring me even close to that. I'm still looking for a safe place to try them because of what I've heard about PCP. I wouldn't doubt that most of what I've heard is pure lies, but there's really not a lot of information out there, so if something does happen I'd like to NOT put my head through a window.

I know what you mean about the natural dissociative. When I was 11 years old, in the winter I got really sick with a 105.3 F fever (thats damn high 109 is concidered fatal), I was lying in my bed, but I really floated out of my body and saw my self sleeping there, it wasn't really a dream cuz my eyes were open the whole time, but I visited places far away. Then I upchucked blood on my pillow and passed out. K is something I'm interested in trying.

I'm sure they used (or still do) use it to anesthetize small children. I got some 'E' pills which I found out later, were ketamine pills. I had a horrible time on them, felt really spaced out, distant and was tripping like fuck (someones handbag turned into a face and was staring at me), plus I couldnt feel my body below my waist so trying to walk was a motherfucker. I had to leave the club asap. BAD EXPERIENCE!

k is relatively safe i believe, i know of people who get shampoo bottles full of that stuff, the liquid form, straight from the vet... K is the only actually hallucination, it disconnects your body from your brain causing your brain to create things, like if you sit in a sound proof room for long enough you will start to hear things

Yeah... I would have to say E, Shrooms, and OxyContin are the best. E helps me express my innerself, basically brings out the true me. Shrooms are amazing, especially when you have a good trip, and when your tripping hard, looking at things and the feeling in your body is incredible. OC's are probably, if not the best scrip out there. With OC's you feel invincible, compared to a cocaine high, it lasts 5-10x longer than coke, Just don't get addicted, me and my buddy just had an OC binge last weekend... did them Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday.

I agree wholeheartedly with the first half of that, but have to argue with you about the nitrous. Granted, I do know people who are pretty stupid about it, and are probably getting 'higher' off of a lack of oxygen from re-breathing into the same balloon for 60+ seconds... but nitrous is a very powerful drug; terms like 'hippie crack', while probably appropriate, are misleading.

My best nitrous experience was when I was at the dentist to get my wisdom teeth out. He strapped me with a mask that was delivering something like 10% nitrous / 90% normal atmospheric gas mix... and those few scant minutes that I was still somewhat conscious were easily 10x better than any whippet I've ever done.

RedRainDrop, I'd say DXM fucks you up in the head considerably more than ecstasy. I've known people who have gone delusional from tussin binges.

Nitrous is pretty cool, a bit impractical unless you've got a supply and proper equipment, great for when you're already on drugs.
