Okay I just read it but you know darn good and well that does not offset the innocent being persecuted. I do support our Commander-In-Chief..as an American I feel I have to at this point but I do don't support/approve all deisions he has made. Come on now..why are we not in Iran instead of Iraq? America is better than what we have been reduced 2....

You sound like a smart person. I for sure don't agree with everything W. does and the far right wingers that do are idiots. We are in Iraq because Saddam openly supported terrorism (10,000$$ to suicide bombers families, harboring extremists). We also went to Iraq to prevent them from restarting their WMD program. If you read all the speeches everyone said we should go BEFORE he has the weapons and that nobody knew for sure. Some people like to invent history however.

Invent and change it on paper. I travel alot..I can go through 6-7 states in 24 hours...I buy a newspaper in each state and every time the SAME story has different spins so...I understand. I do love America though..no question on that.:)

That article was written by a fool.
That's why our entire northern american body has been reduced to simpering knee-jerk reactionism.
Let's say you believe 9/11 was carried out by evil terrorists...there are hundreds of memos that make it abundantly clear that the events of that day could EASILY have been prevented...but they weren't.
Now, instead of learning from our mistakes and resolving to be ever-the-more vigilant, we instead bow down to random checks and wiretaps...
So what's this guy's plan? Wait until a serious abuse occurs and use another knee-jerk plan to THEN protect the citizens? Then he'll most likely write another article about how it's wrong to critisize the president for making an "unfortunate mistake" and we should all remain patient while he "investigates himself".
L.A. right? yep, sounds like a typical democrat to me.

iraq is a vital step to securing the region. Republican talking heads will point out that bush isnt making any money from the war (which he is) but wait until after '08 when he steps down. he'll be able to swim through his money up his crawford driveway.
but anyway, iraq was important to ensure that arab countries that border each other iran/iraq/syria wouldnt band together in the face of western dominance.
i feel that the iranian president is using his "world without zionism" as a platform to rally other arab countries against western powers. This would make it appear to be an idealogical problem that must be confronted by all islamics, not just iran.
the mistake saddam made was never pondering the option that he would be betrayed by his american buddies.
