Iran??s president Mahmoud A hmadinejad says ??Iran is not frightened by threats from any country and it will continue the path of production of the nuclear energy. Iranian people do not allow foreigners to block their progress.?

Sounds like a solution will come about soon then.

Peace

It is gonna be fun to watch this play out. Iran is slowly isolating themselves.

Yeah but why now? Their "leader" is very confident..like he smiles waiting to see who will blink first. They just started publicly with the uranium again so maybe Libya has what we thought was put deep under the ground 2 1/2 years ago? I don't think this is going to be fun..more like very bad for everyone. :(

Of course he acts confident. If he didn't he would be killed. Russia and China are now on our side and the E.U. is asking that Iran be brought before the security council. Egypt publicly dissed Iran as did the Saudis. It's gonna be fun.

Okay..I respect your viewpoint but I will only say I find no fun in a man like that ..he scares me. Actually said Israel should not exist?? So what will he do when the powers that be play hardball with him? Or your opinion?

I really, really am hoping he does crash and burn. He is dangerous!! Thanks for the accurate info and a healthy opinion on here. (politics) At least your answering my questions (really curious) without getting angry and name calling like a spoiled brat...very refreshing. :smokin:

not so fast there, amsterdam.

Russia agreed that they would support a resolution. They also are exploring the option of letting iran continue uranium enrichment IN RUSSIA. it's already been praised as being one of the best options.

The next nuke would then be delivered courtesy of vladimir putin.

also, russia is agreeing to go to the security council...but why would they? They can make the vote to declare sanctions, but in the case of military intervention, they can still declare war on the west and side with iran...doesnt sound like much of an alliance as the pundits would make you believe.

and as for the china issue...it doesnt look like they will bow to E.U. pressure at 300,000 barrels of iranian oil a day, so guess who'll be the first to wield that veto power?

And so what about Egypt? Don't forget that if iran has nukes, they would be in a better position to be the dominant islamic/arab power. You think if Canada were to start enrichment programs to make weapons, that we'd get a free pass from america?

well actually, thanks to right-wing extremism, he was taken out of context. he said that israel should be wiped off the map because it should be moved to europe, because that's where the "holocaust" took place.

Make no mistake however, that guy is dangerous and is headed by an even more dangerous ayatollah.

if the bombs break out i'd fight alongside america, but i'd rather fight a just war where we're actually threatened, not a war that came about as a repercussion of greed.
