Just got around 4 grams (gotta love heavy 8's) of very nice opium, and I wonder some things.

1) What are the main active chemicals in opium? Medial names are fine by me, I just wanna know what all's going in. I know morphine and coedine, but that can't be all.

2) I noticed after about a gram and a half split with two friends that I began shaking. Now I'm smoked red brick, a purplish tar, and a paper soaked in just-cut pod sap and dried, but never has this happened. Any advice?

Opium is the name for the brown waxy exudation from the unripe seed capsules of Papaver somniferum. Opium is a combination of chemicals, not a chemical name in itself. It's active ingredients are morphine, thebaine, codeine, papaverine and several others. Other parts of the poppy plant (stems, leaves) produce a latex which dries and resembles opium, but the quality of the latexes from the other parts of the plant are not near as high.

My advice to the shaking, not a damn thing, enjoy it, that happens sometimes.....

actually audio to correct smoke ranger opium comes from ripend pods not unripe and there are 2 chemical names for what gets you high. opium resin contains two groups of alkaloids: phenanthrenes (including morphine and codeine) and benzylisoquinolines (including papaverine). and the active ingredents he listed are by products of opium not ingredients

I did not know that, and I was cutting and pasting from a word document I made on opium and the chemicals made by it and it looks like a missed a couple words in the cut and paste procedure, thanx for correcting me brother-S>RANGER

Opium is definitely one of my favorite drugs, right up there with magic mushrooms and LSD. The high is tremendous, very calming, unfathomably relaxed, it's one of the best things to do on weekdays after a particularly difficult day of work.

It's definitely not fake, and it's not bright red. more of a dark construction brick red. Maybe a bit darker with a hint of stain-brown. And extremely nice.

Byproducts, anyhow. Thanks for the info.

And yes, isn't opium wonderful?

edit: I'm close enough to inner St. Louis to sell to that region, but far enough away to have a large private plot of woods to grow in. :D I don't like to be specific, no offense to you personally.

Lots of heroin and opium floating around from what I've seen, in the ritzier areas. Good luck.
