depends, if you dont' want a job cuz your just that fuckin lazy, or if you don't want a job because of how it can "tie you down" .. if you want an honest way to make money (and extremely effective, me and my bro bought an oz+ a day doing this, or 1/2 oz and a new bong or pipe everyday)
get a lawn mower
get up early
get a gas can
go knock on ppl's doors and offer to mow their yard for 20 bucks... takes less than an hour as long as you actually work and don't pussyfoot around....
money ain't just going to fall into your hands all your life, better to get used to working younger, than being 18-20 when you get your first job..

that should work for you...and if you can mow fast enough and do a quality job it is possible to make $100 in a few hours...

exaclty what i posted, you work when you want to work (unless you make "contracts" with your customers, like you'll come back every week to mow it for them again) and you work as much as you want to work, you have no real boss (but of course no one is going to hand over money unless you did atleast a half assed job on the yard, doens't require experience, anyone knows how to push a mower til it's all relitiveally even, only thing you have to "pick up on" is when most people are home around where you mow.. like if you're in a mostly upscale neighbor hood, of course not many are people are going to be home monday-fri between 7am-6pm... but the best places to hit up are the "elder" neighbor hoods, where's there's shitloads of "old people" because.. most of htem can't do the work for their self, are almost always home, and almost always have money so none of thatl "i can't afford to do it right now" if anything just try it out for a day, if your neighbor hood is anything like mine... you're gonna be going out almost every day cuz of all the easy money there is to be had.

Listen to what this man says, HE IS VERY WISE. I did the exact same thing when I was 17 years old, made great money. Now I run my own lawn care business during the summer and I clean snow from airplanes in the winter. I make about $60.00 an hour, I work completely for myself and I NEVER have to work more than 4 days a week. When I get a SH*THEAD for a client I can tell them what they can do with thier grass. I set my own prices and work at my own pace (VERY FAST=MORE $ PER HOUR!) It took me a lot of hard work to get here but, IT CAN BE DONE.
GOOD LUCK!

I'm going to also start a yard work buissiness with my friend. I don't know though how to go about charging. I don't want to go by the hour because the money is shit for the work that way, and I don't want to be like ok if I wack the weeds thats going to be five bucks and then mowing the lawn will be twenty and then watering the plants is going to be another 10 dollars. People would just be like "WTF." Anyone got ideas on how to deal with this issue?

simple, what's it worth to you, keeping in mind that you are actually getting paid a hell of a lot for the work of it all involved.. at most (i've worked by myself, with my brother and with a professional run buisness all multiple times) with weedeating (for edging, other wise only thing a weed eater is used for is really tall grass, like too high for a lawn mower, or where there's alot of thick stalked weeds that would be hard on the mower engine) mowing, general weed pulling from flower beds, and stuff like that, 30-35 bucks.. if you're just going to mow, start with 20 bucks per yard, if you keep getting "no's" go down to 15 per yard (i really don't know the size of yards around your neighbor hood so it's kinda hard to say)
in short, just what you feel is fair, keeping in mind if you get "greedy" with pricing you're not going to be getting a whole lot of customers, better to undercut yourself and get alot of yards then, over pricing and get maybe 1 yard a day...
oh yea, don't put prices on each job.. example conversaton:
you: hi mam/sir i was wondering if you'd like me to mow your yard
them: what all are you planning on doing?
you: well, it's more about what you want me to do ~insert laugh~
them: well i have runner grass (those long strings of grass that grow passed driveways and past curbs into the streets) growing off i'd like taken care of and of course the yard is shaggy like to get that mowed.
you: ok well i can surely do that, 25 dollars sound ok to you?
(this is where they say yes or no that's too much)
you: (if they said too high) well i can cut it down to 20 bucks, but i'm sorry i won't go any lower than that (in the nicest way, you're not giving an ultimatem, you're throwing the fact out there that you're not no shmuck and gonna work like crazy for pennies)
then it goes one of two ways
them: ok that sounds fair
you: ok well i'll get right on that, i'll come and let you know when i'm done so you can look over it and make sure you're satisfied
or..
them: well i can't really afford to pay that much, atleast not now..
you: ok well, sorry to bother you, have a good day, and i'll be going around here maybe some time next week, i can come by again if you think you could or would want me to do it for you then.
keep the customer happy and you'll be in good buisness, most of them will tell you to come by in a week or two to see if they want you to mow again, i did that.. and i always used to go to them first thing in a week or two (depending on when theyw anted me to come back) i'd go get them done first since it's basicly garunteed money then move on to go find more yards afterwards.. i don't thin kme or my brother ever went home with less than 150 bucks ina day, only working 6 hours at the most.. great way to make money if you ask me.

Perfect stoner job= DEALING DOPE! get in real good with a close buddy who happens to have the "hook up". ask to help him move his product, lets say he fronted you a QP. you could sell to all your friends and family and after you sell it to them ask em to burn a bowl with ya. so youll be helping others, fqlexible hours, no expirience needed, not leaving house, plenty of weed and money?

don't do this... things like this only make the world worse for everyone... think about if someone did it to you. do something where you work fairly for your money and i guarentee it will feel a lot better when you get it.

this isn't for big bucks or anything but if you don't already I say store all of your loose change in one place after you get a bunch take it to a bank and cash it in, i've gotten over $100 purely from change before

Psycho makes great points, theres plenty of things you can do that are less then hard. Mowling lawns, racking lawns (if in a very tree heavy place), shoveling driveways (snow). I mean working at a grocery store, or a fast food place don't really require much experince at all and are all relatively easy jobs. Twenty a week should be fine in anycase; if you learn to ration the herb.

Mowing lawns is sweet in the warmer months. I have a friend who made like $400 a week doing it. Man, I'd love to get a cut [pun intended] of that...
Dude, don't rob houses. That is so lame. Only fuckos do that. Someone ripped a $400 set of headers and an assload of tools off from me last fall. I left my garage open for like twenty minutes when I was walking my dog and some cum sandwich took them. My dad was so pissed...
I sold all of my CDs on ebay [I already burnt all of them onto backup discs] and made $300 and probably could have made a buch more had I not been lazy...
Another cool and easy job to do is ripping records to CDs. I do it for my dads friends every now and then and charge $1.50 a record. The major plus is you get a ton of cool music for free. The software costs like $50 and I assume your parents have a record player...
