haha anything by this new kid from my neighborhood...he calls himself 'casual friday'. he's a clean rapper with a poetic mouth and lyrics that you can appreciate. he hasnt hit the mainstream yet, but i am sure he will. id compare his lyricysim to tuPac and india arie, but the smoothness of usher and the alchemsit. but the best part is; he's white.

jack johnson got his start from g.love and special sauce. g.love is absofuckinlutely amazing, i wanna marry him. he i s chill like jack, but a little more funk and blues mixed in. i highly recommend the albums 'philadelphonic', the best of' and 'yeah, its that easy'.

I can only give you good music for stuff such as heavy metal and rock and raggae because i dont really like anything else.

Heavy metal - Children of bodom, Avenged Sevenfold, iron maiden, system of a down

Rock - Sound garden, pink floyd, the who, U2 (some might consider this as Pop), Sex pistols, hendrix,Def Leppard, AC/DC

Raggae - Bob marley (sorry, thats the only raggae i think i listen too)

Sorry i hav'nt listed so many bands. But i only just listed some bands on the top of my head.

I hope i've helped tho

Now im gonna go play postal 2: share the pain and pee in some police officers mouth's and start fire's :)

I like Sublime but they steal alot of their stuff, here is a list off the top of my head (I know this stuff because I friggin' love reggae):

Jailhouse- Marley original (with Tosh and Bunny)
DJs- lyrics stolen from Ride Natty, Ride (Marley- Dready got a job to do.....)
Right Back- Chorus stolen from Mix Up, Mix Up (Marley- Waiting for a bright holiday....)
Trenchtown Rock- Stole this from the original Wailers
54-46 Was my number- stolen from Toots & The Maytals
Smoke Two Joints- stolen, but I can't remember from where
Scarlet Begonias- Greatful Dead
Rivers of Babylon- stolen from the Melodians
Doin' Time- the beat is ripped, but I don't remember where it was from
Guava Jelly- stolen from Marley

Just a quick list, but you get the point!

Anyway listen to Marley and Jacob Miller.

yea they "steal" a lot of stuff as you say. doesnt mean its bad man. just like santana "stole" black magic women, or hendrix "stole" all along the watchtower, or metallica "stole" four horsemen (coz i think mustaine wrote it)

anyway..
