View Full Version : DO ANY OF YOU..........
 As alot of ppl here know I breed horses and I instruct riders, so I was just wondering how many of you share my interests? I am going to attach a pic of myself and 1 of my horses, he is a horse that is used for eventing and hunting because of his jumping abilities, but sad about a year after these pics were taken he was involved in a accident and as a result he had to have a eye removed so that was the end of his eventing days, but he is used as my personal riding horse on the farm. :(
no way!
awsome pics dude!!
I personally have no interest in riding (im actually quite against racing) but i just thought id complement you on your beautiful, cute horse!!! lol :)
It looks well mellow where you are...i take it you live in the country.
nice one :D

Aww. -laughs- That story makes me sad and then happy. You're a babe. And that's a pretty horse too. I've only ridden a horse a couple times honestly, but I always like looking at pretty horses.
 yes I live on a lovely farm in a great lil rural town, so horses play a big part in my life. BTW my horses name is GLENVAR CAMPAIR, but his paddock name is DARLY. The pics not really do him any justice, he stands at just on 17hands, and has the best nature.....

not to be mean but i hate horses.for some reason they just dont mix with me.when i was seven i went on this trip to the mountains and we signed up for a horse ride.there was like ten of us and we were in a big line.it started snowing and my horse for some reason took off from the pack.i was alone and scared.i coulnt get down and the horse just walked around.he actually knew his way and went back to the stable but i was traumatized and still dont click with that magnificent animal

I used to go to Saratoga Race Track a lot. I love Horses and they're so powerful. I grew up on Gay Lane and, behind my house, there was a horse farm.
 SCOOBIE....good on your daughter, its a great interest for kids to have, but its a shame there is such a huge cost involved for parents. I have had horses my entire life as has my son and my sisters kids. Horses can be intimidating to some ppl, so the way you feel is very normal ;) Plz let your daughter know that I think she is great.....
BTW.....thankyou nakedgunner

My relatives have always had horses so I've grown up knowing how to ride. Horse are one of my favorite animals, also I love New Zealand I took a 3 week trip there once and had the best time, we went EVERYWHERE, almost every little city on the south island.
So, you wanna go out sometime Kiwi?

My daughter and I go riding from time to time at a local stable run by the county. She loves it and I don't mind. Always wanted to spend a couple weeks on horseback exploring the Badlands.

weve got about 6 horses, and one of em, my mom's horse is the cousin of the president of mexico's personal horse(my mom knew the people who sold him the horse...500,000$-ka-ching!), so he comes out of a terrific bloodline. But Im not into horses at all,Im actually really allergic, I took a girl i was seeing for a ride, and I broke out into a bad rash and my eyes swelled shut and I had an asthma attack...not too good for a first date but she thought it was cute...so hey what the hell huh?

I have a 7 year old Dutch Warmblood/TB gelding. He is for sale because I dont devote enough time to him and he deserves more. I've had him for three years. We jump and do basic dressage. He's getting his teeth floated on thursday, poor baby.

Sorry to hear about your horse's injury....But that comes with the game and atleast you were not hurt. You seem like a nice girl and this is a nice thread.
I don't ride but have been scramblng motorbikes since I was 4! Now I just take my bike out ocassionaly in the summer when the going is "good to firm" ;]
I'm thinking about getting a Bird of Prey...and I keep Parson's type terriers.
My cousin has many rossettes from show jumping..But once you've riden a few bikes ...horses don't seem to do it ....What is it with girls and horses and boys and bikes?
