Any RPG fans out there?

I love my RPGs. The FF series is the best, and I just rediscovered FFIV on the Game Boy. Anyone else love console RPGs and miss the old school SNES classics?

I still have the old style Super Nintendo console and a few games :p but I never play it.

But Contra is def. the best game for the original Nintendo. I played it about 4months ago, and finished it, in about 30min. I never realized how short of a game it was until now.

Several years back....FF7 was what it was about...tried other RPGs since then...but still not much comparison...maybe FF Tactics... but I havnt played games in a lonnnngggg time.

yea FF7 is my favorite rpg aswell...i got stuck in a lift tho against some massive boss thing and could never get past it.

i never caught on to ff7, but i remember playing ff8 for hours on end. to this day ive never beaten it. i think its because near the end of the game where they just stick you in a boat and you have to explore the world or whatever i never knew where to go.

ok sniping someone rings a bell. so i know ive been to that part a few times and beat it.

and i found everyones mom at the orphanage or whatever

ff7 was like a really good book.....or a movie...one of the greatest storylines of all time...The only thing stopping me from digging out my old playstation and replaying it maybe is the fact that it might be remade with the PS3...they supposedly showed a tech demo of it at the E3 conference. I might have to buy a ps3 if they remake it...now asays the only gaming i do is an occasional CS.

it just shows aries walking...and the part where cloud jumps off the train in the beginning...still pretty badass...the seenwhere she gets killed would have been alot cooler in the demo though :-p

Fucking right. Nothing like replaying a sweet RPG high. I've played too many to bother listing but FFs were cool. Legend of Dragoon, Crono Cross/Trigger. It was all fun.

Final Fantasy VII for sure. Could anybody hook me up with the PC version of the game? They're a bit of a rarity. I'm going to reactivate my WoW account when I get a new laptop. :)

I started playing FF3 (American) as soon as it came out. Then came FF2 (went backwards), and from then on, I was hooked on SNES RPGs. I started playing the first one for NES, but.. gave up.. hard game.. :confused:

Then came Playstation which had a few great titles as well. :

Azure Dreams (Awesome Playstation RPG! Sort of a mixture between eh.. Final Fantasy Tactics, Pokemon, and Sim City haha!)
Breath of Fire series (and #3 for Playstation<3)
Secret of Mana
Secret of Evermore
Earthbound
Final Fantasy(-y+ies)
Lufia series
Chrystallis (NES)
Zelda: A Link to the Past (and DX for Gameboy, Ocarina of Time for N64)

Actraiser (#2 was sidescrolling gayness)
Shenmue 1+2 (my copy of #2 for XBOX got stolen :( :( )
