Tinctures

I am into herbal teas and stuff like that and I just made a bunch of tinctures from some herbs. I was wondering if you used marijuana could you make tinctures that would be potent just like if you used other herbs and be strong enough to get you high?

yeah, tincture of marijuana is often called green dragon. You basically soak your buds, leaves, stems, or whatever in everclear, or some high proof alcohol. If you use a very high proof alcohol, you'll want to use a lot of herb, so that when you drink it you won't get too drunk before the THC kicks in. The effects are similar to eating brownies or cookies with bud cooked in.

Sweet, what is the ratio usually like amount of bud per amount of alcohol?? Does anybody know like if I used say an 80 proof vodka or something?
