View Full Version : and people wonder why the world is pissed at America...

Well, once again, the US has managed to piss a lot of people off, this time Pakistan, and they've done this before. I'm sure you all read that "Al zarquawi is dead" thread in which we found out he is indeed not dead, nor is any al qaeda leaders. So, instead of killing some enemy operatives, the US just sent a missile and blew up a house killing 18 pakistani civilians.

So I just thought I'd inform everybody, and this may shock you *gasp*, that not every terrorist is attacking America because they "hate freedom" as the Bush administration tells us all  . Frankly I'm amazed so many people believe that.

Yeah the US is going downhill really really fast. The Republicans/Bush think that they can do anything they want. And they can.

the dead WERE civilians, as confimed by the pakistani government who condemned the attack, as well as CTV and CNN. they blew it away on a tip that zarqawi was there. just like at the beginning of Iraq somebody gave a tip that Saddam was hiding in this house and so they flew in a missile as fast as possible, blew up a bunch of people, and sure enough he wasn't even there.

Don't know, but the candidates running in the next election will 'surely' be better than Bush./shrug

We can hope, anyway . . .

Just my opinion but I think it is already decided..they have so much control & power wouldn't it make sense they control who takes the reins from Bush?

That's the best you can come up with..how about just answering the question instead of whining.

Yup, my bad! Couldn't help myself from taking a dig at our beloved president. ;) I'll refrain from posting further comments of this nature in this thread. . .

And, no! The Republicans do not have that kind of power over our elections . . .

Okay wrong thread but does it pain you so much you just had to stop the question? Couldn't you just go on about your business? And your still posting off-topic on here so what's with that? Maybe control? Just curious..Especially since you said your pre-med which tends to do that.

Hell, I'd own AK-47's, grenades, and such if I could, and I certainly would in a war torn country, but I love weapons, so . . .

No offense taken and none directed..your post just "sounded like my mother saying "shouldn't you be doing something else"....and I was really wanting to read what others thought because when I ask a question like that I really like to "see" how others think. Reassures me I am not just paranoid I guess.I shouldn't have said what I did and I apologize to you.

so it's impossible to be a middle eastern civilian without being a terrorist?

I dont' know how to make it more clear, THE PEOPLE WHO GOT KILLED ARE CONFIRMED BY BOTH GOVERNMENTS NOT TO BE TERRORISTS.

believe it or not, there's people out there who go to their regular jobs to support their families.

Being realistic, there's a rediculous amount of sub-category forums here. if we matched every subject to the corresponding forum type, threads would only get about 2 or 3 hits.

lol, that's the first time I've seen somebody write "the" 3 times accidentially.

but yeah, I thought that was kind of hypocritical to give the US hell when they authorized it. however that still doesn't justify the action.

A failed attempt - too little, too late.

On Sept. 12, 2001, a massive, mysterious pattern-bombing mission in the al-Qaeda-infected mountains of Afghanistan, and along the Paki-Afghani border, should have rocked that part of the world. Maybe a few nukes would have helped to reinforce the message. Bush should have then issued his condolences, and swore to help track down the guilty party, or parties, responsible for the attack(s). That would have made a big difference and this mistake, on Jan. 13, 2006, would not have had to happen. All of our Homeland Security would have been much less necessary had somebody done this.

Just my :twocents:
