I think you both are warm hearted and kind people and I have done the same thing back in the days when I spent hacking DTV cards.

I sent a guy a grand so he could buy Christmas presents for his kids. What bummed me out was that after he got it, he never even answered my emails and just disappeared. I didn't even want to be repaid...he jsut disappeared.

And, he was one of the biggest names in the smartcard hacking circles.

Makes you feel sick for a bit..then you get over it...but then in a few years, it makes you even sicker.

Trust me the worst has yet to hit. When you realize that some of these people actually MAKE THEIR LIVING LIKE THIS...OFTEN HAVING SEVERAL SCAMS RUNNING AT THE SAME TIME IN DIFFERENT BOARDS.

DO the math on his number of posts,,, and you will see it was indeed a full time job. And I assure you, they pick on places like this, religious chats and boards are PRIME TIME targets...anywhere there is a societal gathering that has a repressed environment is ripe grounds for their trade of taking from the generous.

But you live and learn and just you two remember that that everything you ever do will come back to either kiss you upon the lips or bite you right in the ass.

I believed TC's story too. I didnt send him money, but what I couldnt understand was that he had Computer, broadband and according to him a hell of a lot of growing equipment. TC wanted to sell a HPS and some other equipment was that a scam too?

its alot simpler then that from what i heard someone sent cash to someone else via western union or some other sort of money transfering service which need proof of i.d. which usually includes a name and a address it'd be as easy as asking a friend to ask a friend to go pay someone a visit...bitchz get stichz 2..hint..hint..

So what I gather from all of this is that TC scammed money from most of the members from this site with full intention of not re-embersing any of your money. I would totally agree with the IP Logging idea aslong as the site would be able to stay secure, as you know if Cannabis forums becomes IP Logged, some of the biggest growers may leave, such as dutchy he grows big and if he had his IP Logged and say if the site did get hacked, hed be shut down as long as most other people that are the easiest for the DEA to get to.
