I was just thinking about making one of these. What's the easiest/best way to do it, i've never tried before.

okay, get a melon baller and an apple corer. first make the bowl with the melon baller, towards the top of the apple. then take a toothpick or something of the sort and poke holes in the bowl. then start hacking away at the bottom end with the apple corer, but dont go to the other end. make the the chamber as big as you want just dont touch the bowl. add a carb if wanted.

i've never liked apple pipes.. for some reason... it adds this weird effect to the weed.. like it's hard to explain, but my head feels cloudier then normal (not in a good way) and afterwards my head always hurts, like i've been drinking all night and didn't go to sleep for 20+ hours after sobering up... i've just all in all never had a good experience from it.... anyone else ever have this type of stuff happening? my theory was i get that because of the sugar that's in the apple that i happen to be smoking with the bud.. i even tried drying out the inside as best as i could (of course i'm never going to be able to dry it completely, just to get some of the moisture off, so maybe there wouldn't be so much juice with sugar in it around my bud) but still got the same effects, if not even worse that time.

definitely not the sugar.. an apple doesn't have enough sugar in a little carved out 1/20th of it (estimate). what else were you doing those nights? what did you eat before, and after, you smoked?

when i did it, i was doing nothing diffrent then what i'd usually do... and i smoked outta my regular pipe with the same bud the day before and that same day (after awhile and i'd sobered up, i wasn't gonna use the apple again) that's why i didn't understand it... basicly, take my everday smoking habbits, which don't produce these effects, and just replace my pipe with an apple pipe.. if i was in a pinch i'd use it of course, it's much smoother than smoking outta aluminum can, but i always develope a really horendous headache about 30 mins after smoking.
