My new spot has a ppm reading of 200 which we all know to be hard water...Can someone let me know if I really need a hard water nute solution(even for organic nutes)
And if so which nutes are good for hartd water.
Or can I subtract the 200ppm's from the final reading...or should I include the 200ppm's in the final measurment #?

it's not as much a matter of subtracting the 200 but it's what the 200 PPM is.
GH and Advanced have a micro made for hard water you may want to use. Or get a 5 stage RO filter and run it through that.

Thanks Zandor,I'm thinking about just buying those gallons of distilled water in front of the supermarket.I'll get a gallon and test it.Otherwise I'll look into those nutes.I live in a very agricultural county so I have a feeling the stuff in there is either pestiside or nutrients.along with the city chem's.
My water is filtered and that alone stops all the chlorine thats in our water. But it's just a sink filter for drinking water. But it still read 200 ,accually the filtered water read a little higher. The straight tap water was at about 175.(maybe it needs a new filter)because thats the only explanation for the filtered water to have a higher reading.
I also have access to free water that reads 120...is this still too high(Hard)?

A regular 5-gallon bucket is a life saver for carrying water. Remember you are changing the water in your fish tank. just in case.

Good advice but problom solved ,the filter in the sink needed to be changed...PPM reading of 25 now!
Also I have a big tub in the room that I let water sit in for a day, then ph it and add nutes...and feed.
That filter cuts all the chlorine out too...what a life saver in that department...but everything is going good. They all have popped and no stretching ,the biggest stretch is about 4 inches.
