I've only heard about this.
My sister's boyfriend was telling me about it.

I didn't quite catch all the details, but it involves like an ice cold glass, and condensing the smoke into water, and taking shots of it or something.


Has anyone ever done/heard about this? :dance:

yeye . shotgunning weed . throw a mug or w/e in the freezer for a while then take a hoot and blow the smoke into the mug and it settles at the bottom and u can like tip the glass and it will float into your mouth . i think . im not sure.

Around here, shotgunning refers to one of two things: putting the end of a joint backwards in your mouth and blowing out a thick stream of smoke into someone else's mouth, or just taking a hit, then breathing out fairly quickly into someone else's mouth.

yah, that's what I've always known a shotgun to be.

That other way sounds fun too though.

Its more of a party trick than something to actually get you high... Just blow your smoke gently into a frozen mug and then tip it back into your mouth while inhaling.

Not true. Here's how we do it.

Take any kind of hollow tube, like off a bic pen. Place the mouth end into it, and palce your mouth around the cherry end carfully. Carefully blow until there is so much smoke condense into the mug it's completely white. The smoke won't escape if you do it correctly. When you're finished, drink it, and enjoy your high. I've seen people fit an entire joint into one mug.

But the part part about it, is you get 100% of the THC out of the smoke. When the cold air enter your lungs, it expands, and your lungs absorb every last bit of it. You won't blow out any smoke if you hold it for just a few seconds.

depending on which method you'd perfer best ways are with a really thick glassed beer bottle (preferebly 24 oz or larger) and a barstyle beer mug

bottle - grab the materials you'll need ahead of time (after letting the bottle sit in the freezer for a few hours, over night is best) a sweet or joint will work, a straw and of course the bottle. light the sweet/joint and shotgun it into the bottle (stick the fire end in you rmouth and the mouthpeice in the neck of the bottle, and blow, filling the bottle up with smoke) take the straw suck the smoke out.

mug - same process, a few hours, over night is best, this you won't be needing a straw (tho it will be lest wasteful) and still a sweet/joint. shotgun it into the mug, upon the smoke entering the mug, most of it will be chilled really cold, tho some wont. thus it's not heated and doesn't rise, i.e. staying in the mug till "dumped" upside down, you then "drink" the smoke (not actually swallowing it, you til the glass as you woudl to drink, but instead of swallowing you inhale the smoke as usual).

i never really saw any point in either, there are much easier and less complicated means, and more effective ways of cooling smoking, and it doesn't in any way get you any higher... i guess it's just fun to do sometimes cuz it does look pretty sweet. anyone that claims otherwise is either misinformed or plain out lying. i've done this multiple times (to show new people) and it never added anything extra i coudln't get from just filling my bong up with ice cubes and smoking like that.
