Ecstasy Help

I got this ecstasy pill, with a #1 on it. It's been sitting in a lil' baggie in the dark for a few weeks. I'm pretty clueless when it comes to synthetics, could it be old/bad? If it's good, what's the high like? Any info would be much appreciated :rasta:

Ok, cool, but now I have to figure out if it's actually ecstasy. I heard people pass off mad different pills as it. The pill I have is white, about 2 milimeters in diameter and almost 1 centimeter thick, with a # 1 on the slightly raised surface of the pill. Is this ecstasy?

As far as I know, MDMA doesn't go bad in normal conditions.

First, make sure it's really E. If your source is someone you definitely trust, that's good enough proof. If not, check one of the many sites online (sorry, no URLs come to mind atm, google for them) that show pictures of pills and lab analysis of the contents. Pills are very easy to cut with other things, and you don't want to take something you're not comfortable with taking by mistake.

Once that's settled, there are some things you should know about E. First of all, before you try it, you need to decide how often you're willing to do it and stick to that. I took it once thinking it wouldn't be that great (it makes you happy? big deal!), and immediately wanted to do it many more times after experiencing it. It can be very bad for you to use it too often. Weekly is probably not a good idea, at least not for an extended period. Monthly is reasonable, although it's best to use it very infrequently and not on any schedule IMO. It's your body, but if you plan on using it with any regularity, at least read up on the health risks.

While rolling (the term for being on E), make sure to stay hydrated, but don't overdo it. If you go to a club or whatnot and dance, you will not feel tired or thirsty even after hours. MANY people have DIED from dehydration because of this. If you're just gonna be chilling with some friends (I don't recommend doing E while alone, just because it wouldn't be nearly as good that way), make sure to drink a couple glasses/bottles of water. I usually aim for around 40 oz; water's good for you, anyway. Don't go way overboard; a handful of people have been hospitalised and I think a couple have even died from drinking way too much water, since you also won't realise that you've had too much. Finally, avoid mixing with other substances, including alcohol. You can smoke bud if you want, but I hear it's not very much fun. Shrooms and acid mix well, but that's a very different experience and I suggest that you try E on its own for the first time.

The experience itself is incredible. You will be euphorically happy. For most people, there's sort of a 'baseline' euphoria while rolling, which has been compared to the feeling after great sex, and you will get bursts or 'rushes' of extreme euphoria, which are stronger than pretty much anything you'll experience while not on E. This feels phenomenal; I wouldn't hesitate to call it the greatest feeling in the world, at least in terms of sheer hedonistic physical enjoyment. Some people get mild visuals, but E isn't much like a psychedelic. People tend to open up emotionally while rolling; you will feel love for everyone around you, and conversations about emotional issues will be very uninhibited. Many people find this useful for working through personal problems. Just be sure that whoever you're talking to is someone you trust, since you may and probably will reveal things you wouldn't normally.

It depends on the dose of the pill and how you take it. 4 hours is a good guess, plus the time between ingestion and when it kicks in (varies a lot based on metabolism, food in stomach, etc., but probably 30-60 min or so if you just pop the pill). Crushing the pill up (or just breaking it into a few pieces) will make it hit faster and stronger, but supposedly that also shortens the duration a bit, and the powder tastes horrible. You can snort it, too, but I don't recommend it since it's so easy just to swallow a pill.

uhmm you cant really have a bad experience with E unless youve done it before and you take it and then it doesnt work... trust me its like being 7 year old and not getting anything for your birthday.... truley a horrible experience cause all the anticipation is built up

so no there is no such thing as a bad trip, if you plan on dancing make sure to drink water otherwise just drink a little more than normal, i suggest you get some photon lights and have a friend give you light shows.

if you start rolling just let go man dont try to hold back or you might stop rolling, XTC is funny like that, i swear 50% of it is in your head

uhmm you cant really have a bad experience with E unless youve done it before a friend of mine said he tried E once and it scared the shit out of him. when i asked him what was scary he said 'i didnt know waht the fuck was going on' and thats all he could say about it.
