Daily Factoid: Intensive exams of four patients legally using U.S. federal pot showed great improvement in their conditions, much-reduced use of pharmaceuticals, and no side effects.

Howdy Y'all ,

I thought that this factoid was significant because the key phrase is "much-reduced use of pharmaceuticals and no side effects",it's a major reason why there's a war on marijuana, because I and many other folks, have chosen to use marijuana instead of deadly ,dangerous narcotics and other dangerous drugs, all with multiple side effects that ain't pretty.

The establishment, would rather that folks die from dangerous drugs,or have complications from them, that result in more medical bills..it's all about profits and how to control them. I've told pigs before-that I choose to use marijuana as medicine, instead of dangerous, deadly drugs, but they didn't want to hear of it..probably because they know that I'm right and that they'd have to admit that they were wrong.

Have a good one ....

Your second paragraph couldn't be more on the money... It's all about profit, as Chris Rock said " You think their gonna cure AIDS...They can't even cure athlete's foot" All there doing is making medications and then telling people they need them to be "normal" and function like "normal" people do. Then the proceed to rape your wallet and get you hooked on legal drugs. The problem with legalizing weed is that when the united States government starts a government funded program (FBI, DEA, CIA...etc) even if it is unsucessful they will continue to pump money into it, until if fails completely. The point is, if weed was legalized the DEA would slowly crumble, though never dissappear it will have half the budget and agents, and that would mean cutting a lot of people and they would never do that... they will never fire DEA agents and legalize weed.

marijuana's illegal status just makes me sad.

if i can get a comparable effect, i'd much rather use cannabis as medicine than the wide array of prescriptions i've got. my anti-nausea medication makes me sick to my stomach in a variety of ways, how ironic... i'd rather smoke a bowl any day.

so unfair that i'm likely to be arrested if i'm caught trying to keep food down. i've lost 40% of my body weight in the last year and a half. "Societal menace smokes a bowl, eats a sandwich! community outraged!" yeah, i'm real scary like that.

*snort*

Yup, Torog. For years, sorry, for YEARS they've been researching it, intensely, and can't find anything wrong with it.

Awesome, now, that they have human test subjects, still alive and kicking.

I'm thinking about how I use it for medical purposes, and the list of symptoms Pot inhibits, and eases, is extensive. But, no one will ever know exactly what I've been through. I told my Doctor that it's my preferred medicine and he said, "Great. I know it's good for a lot of things. However, with the state (of things in Virginia) right now, I can't do anything about it. I tell my other patients, if it helps, then by all means do it. But keep it on the down-low."

Sucks being me.
