An ounce isn't 28 grams, it's a little more, like 28 1/3 grams. People round to 28 because it makes life easier, and who's gonna go apeshit over a third of a gram anyway.

PPP is typically grown SOG style as a single cola.
Plant # is not so important as how much light they are grown under.
It is an 8 week strain and therefore to yield 500g without CO2 you must run 500 watts of HPS over your system, not a large grow at all.

Funny this thread came up.

One of my first grows ever was Pure Power Plant. Mind you, I was a beginner then and was vegging under very low wattage of CFL's, and only a 150W hps for flowering.

2 of the pictures are below. These ones made it in the November 2005 High Times Pix of the Crop section too. :D Dead serious. If you have that one, check it out.

Anyways, that plant was an easy ass grow. I started it from seed, and didn't use any topping or training at all. I just kept it close to the light, gave it good food and lots of love, and a $2 bag of Wal-Mart soil, $3 bag of vermiculite, $20 for CFL'sd, some scrap wood and an HPS light and ballast I got from a friend, shit for under $30 I couldn't complain.

Didn't take long either. It grew and finished fast and it seemd like the trichs just spawned overnight.

I remeber that smoke. Tasted very fruitful and was very sticky.

I'm running PPP right now on Demeter's suggestion. I had always thought of it as a production strain, but she did a very good job with hers and they cured up to a VERY surprisingly gourmet smoke! mm mm mm
