Sobriety is a trip when you live most of your waking hours fucked up...I have come to the realization that this is definately NOT how i want to spend my life (always fucked up, i mean) and have decided to take a 5 week break from the sweet sweet Cheeba... :(
The only addiction i cant seem to break now is from this god damn website, lol. Well, my last bowl is calling me....*sigh*
Wish me luck
Peace :smokin:

About 5 years ago, I spent about an entire month stoned 24/7 - just about literally 24/7 - except for sleep time.
It was a unique experience, but it really took all the fun out of smoking. I don't regret doing it, but I would never do it again.
Light smoking with occasional breaks in between is what I'm into at this phase of my life.

You know what I think sometimes. Is imagaine we were all narurally stoned all of the time, and instead of smoking to get high, we smoked weed to get sober. We'd have like, chess games and shit..."oh man, I'm soooooooo smart right now" :D

personally i enjoy being constantly stoned, but thast not for everyone. being constantly stoned puts you in a mindset that (for most people) is just to confusing after a while. Whith practice though you learn to live in a constantly stoned way, well i did :D

I smoke a lot for a while, then take a few weeks off. wash rinse, repeat.
It works well for me. I don't let myself fret when I'm out, I just remember that mary jwana is everywhere, where was u brought up? I'll find some mo eventually.

I understand this. When I did all this ketamine, I was thinking, what if we are always fucked up and are just used to the state of mind we are in because we've had it for so long. I reckon if you were continualy fucked up then the being sober would be a different experience. Being "sober" is just anoter state of mind, like any other drug.
i got to thinking today... if you count caffeine, i can't remember the last time i went through a whole day without any sort of drug, be it caffeine, nicotine, weed, alcohol, whatever. scary thought, but i am completely addicted to caffeine and i can't make it through the day without it.

I completely agree, after 3 months of not one day going by that I wasnt fucked up on something, I stopped smoking today, and I will continue the hiatus for at least a few more days. Dont think I could make it 5 weeks tho.
I'll wish you luck.
