Today i got eight hydrocodone pills for $3 from someone i know. I took 5 pills at work and felt fairly good off of them. But when i got home i looked on this sight and read a post where someone said hdrocodone pills have acinominophen in them!!!! I'm like "oh shit" i took 5 pills and that has to be a SHITLOAD of acinominophen int them if they do contain that. So i'm worried now that i might get liver damage because i read somewhere that someone can fairly safely take 4000 mg of acinominophen without getting liver damage. But i'm sure those 5 pills had more than 4000 mg of acinominophen in them???????????

They did not have more than 4000 mg of acetametaphin in them, you'll be fine. But don't take hydrocodones, speaking from personal experience, they're a bitch to get off of.

I know the list is going to get fucked up, but the first number is the amount in mg of hydrocodone in one pill, the second number is the amount of acetaminophen in one pill.. you probably took regular ol 5 mgs so I'd say you ingested about 2500 mg of acet. Like I said, you'll be fine.

hydrocodne is buffered with ibuprophen, which is the safest of acetomenophin (sp). so its just like taking 5 tylenols. dont worry bout it

Ibuprofen is different from acetaminophen and while some hydrocodone-containing products may contain ibuprofen (such as Vicoprofen) it is much more common for them to have acetaminophen instead.
As Caruso noted the amount of acetaminophen in the pill will vary, it is best to verify the contents of the pill by doing an imprint search on rxlist.com if you don't have the bottle.

Any person in their right mind should be. Despite that codeine and hydrocodone are two different substances, neither of them are hepatoxic like acetaminophen.
For the record hydrocodone is a semi-synthetic opioid produced from thebaine and is more potent than codeine.
