Yes in fact some folks do it every day. Just make sure it's not lime or lemon or some other essence in it.

Carbonated water is made by passing pressurized carbon dioxide through water. The pressure increases the solubility and allows more carbon dioxide to dissolve than would be possible under standard atmospheric pressure. When the bottle is opened, the pressure is released, allowing the gas to come out of the solution, thus forming the characteristic bubbles.

So is that a yes or no answer?

I think he just looked it up to try to seem intelligent, but forgot to answer anything. His post should've included this picture http://images.ibsys.com/2005/0515/4490722_200X150.jpg

If you wanna give em some co2 try this..
Grow a crop without it...
Sell an ounce or 2..
buy a co2 kit and rent a bottle...
It's not that expensive anymore..and it's worth it...

Well my guess would be it would give it a little extra CO2 but not enough to justify doing it every day.

Mix some sugar into some water and add some yeast. Leave that in your grow room with the lid of the bottle and you've got CO2

oli is right , also if you make homebrew you can have beer and buds :-)
leaves can pull co2 out of the air but not out of carbonated water
leaves get co2 from underneath not the top
it could damage the plant if you spray when the light is on because the water drops will magnify the light and burn the leaves

LOL, I put that there for you to decide.

It seems to me that when you open the bottle, the CO2H4, loses part of its Carbon molecule and becomes more like CO8H16, if you know what I mean. Basically, I think the value of the carbonated water is lost when you travel it to a spray bottle and then spray it on your plant. It seems like there could be a better way.

The reason why it seems like I'm pretty smart is because I've been to three colleges, but never bothered to finish because of my coma, when I was 19. I wanted to play baseball or guitar, so I took a year off to think about it (after one year at two colleges). That year off took me through a whole seperate life. It doesn't bother me. I still have memories.

Sorry, I meant transfer not travel.

Must be stoned, already.

Or maybe when it travels, not you travel. Oiy Yoi Yoi.

It said that it grows faster.

spraying with carobonated water is only efficient with small plants. when they get big u need a real co2 tank.

Mix some sugar into some water and add some yeast. Leave that in your grow room with the lid of the bottle and you've got CO2

or you can put a tube from the lide & put it on the intake of your fan, voila you have good circulation & CO2

i'd expect it would, but i wouldn't be good for your plant because it has sulphate & sodium in it, & in the water that i get the PH is 7.8. all that can't be good for your plant
