stupidest thing ive ever done, I drank 4 bottles, what a terrible idea that was. no trip, no visuals, nothing. I had the WORST migrane possible and any slight sound made me so incredibly angry

Depends on what's in your cough preparation. If you're using one that contains other active ingredients than DXM, chances are the quantity needed to overdose wouldn't be too high.

The DXM trip is heavily dependent on your weight and personal physical variables, so the amount it would take to overdose obviously varies. If memory serves, the official DXM FAQ states that an 'overdose' lies in the infamous "fifth plateau", which for me, I'm guessing would be about six bottles of tussin. Not sure, though. Since there's an overwhelming amount of information on the subject ALL OVER THE INTERNET (including this site), I'd recommend a quick google search.

I think she wants to know because she might be trying it sooner or later. Depending on ur weight it's 1300-2500 (usually 1250). How much do you weigh? I can tell you that I am 145 pounds and I've done 900mg (60 pills, 3 pill bottles, or robotussin (15mg dex) and I passed out for 17 minutes (first time I have ever fainted). It was the absolute funnest night except for the fact that I almost died.

So I would say the number of bottles would also be affected by the dosage of dxm in each bottle and the size of each bottle. Usually it's 4 oz. or 8 oz of 15mg.

EDIT: This would also be affected by any medications that you are taking at the time.

no Ive dome DXM before and didnt like it. im 100lbs, took about 2 tablespoons.it was OK in the first 40 minutes but the remaining 4hours felt like I was falling.

my retarted friend here took an entire 8oz bottle. he weighs maybe 190. passed out in the kitchen for 10 minutes, then begged me to drive him home.

roughly 2000 mg... its a lot more than that.. but you should be safe as long as you don't drink like 10 bottles.

By the way, 1 4oz bottle of robitussin maximum cough is 354 mg. 1 bottle of 20 gelcaps is 300 mg.

just enough for a mild threshold. the recommended dose is two TEASPOONS every six hours. so basically two tablespoons in one hour is like 10x the recommended dosage. i just filled up the little cup that comes with the syrup and chugged it. i did it once just to cross it off the list, im not doing it again.

for a first trip, take 350 mg..you should be able to go up to 4 doses of that without dying. 350 is a plateau 1, 700 is a plateau 2-3, 1050 is a plateau 3-4+, and 1400 is just a bit more, for a fucked up experience

you took too little your first time babe

your retarded friend didnt really take that terribly much, he just didnt do it right...when going to an upper plateau, or just the 2nd too, you should walk around...have either an empty or full stomach (depending on what your body likes)...last monday i tripped on 1050 mg...and thats 3/2 (weighing 140 lbs) what your friend took...just gotta do it right, moving is the best
