I think they look good mobay. If your concerened it might be overwatering reduce the amount they are getting. Don't let the root dry though. It will stunt growth and reduce final yields.

going to start the remaining 5 white widows and 4 big buds in soil, got em germing in some peet pellets, in a dome on a heating pad. drilled a hole in the ceiling to vent out the smell later on, connected to a 265cfm blower with a carbon filter on the end , up in the attic. 4/100w flo lights, just trying to keep the heat in my closet down 2x2x8. what is some good soil to put the peet pellets in when they start rooting?

hey buk its 21 gallon box 14 holes /w dripping tubes @ each hole continuous drip, fast or slow doesn't matter as long as they're getting water and nutes. connected in the bottom is a pump. also have a air tube in the water and a fogger. before they get to big iam going to tape the entire lid with tape i did a few spots will finish later. you change the water every 2 weeks, i brought one of those kerosene pumps to drain it ,battery operated one, and it pumps pretty fast 2. garden hose hooked up to the sink to fill it back up. the best thing about it that now i can go away 3weeks at the most and dont have to worry about my plants getting water. the last time i did that my 2.5 ft plant died around new years. just imagine in just 7 days from seeding this is what you'll get.

ps buk 21gallon 5inches from the top leaves u with 15 gallons of water so you add your nutes according to 15 gallons . hope i broke it down for u ok.

Great looking babies you have there. It will be hard to remove plants soon, period. In a system like that the roots will start to tangle really quickly. Have you thought about topping them to encourage secondary growth, cloning to determine sex, and then taking and rooting clones from your females only? If height is an issue this might help you squeeze enough time out to take all the clones you'll need. Just an idea. Good luck!

Mobay you can make cut's from the top of the plant to produce two top colas and then take the clones and place them under 12 hours of light to determine the sex. Make sure to dip the cut part of the clone in a rooting gel to avoid an air embolism which could kill the clone immediatly. Place your clone in moistened rockwool and press the sides of the rockwool around the clones stem then place under 12/12 of light to determine sex.
(Sorry guys I had to get one last grow tip in before you boo me off stage.)

what am i to do, these plants are growing way to fast, thats a good thing though. just changed the water on monday the 16th and today i just happened to look inside and had to add 2 1/2 gallons more, went up on my nutes to 1130ppm, couple more days raising in up to 1400ppm. all are 6 inches tall now and going to 12/12 when they reach 1 foot. hope i get at least 2 males to make some more space. next grow iam only doing about 5 seeds at a time. cause filling up each of those hole can get kinda scary. (SS 420 ) iam running 400w mh now and 400hps for flowering. does that answer your question. yeah you like cloning , but this was my first time going hydro. i myself like growing from seeds, like to see the whole procedure from a new born. cloning to me is like adopting a 17 year 8 month old teenager, in 4 months they're outta there .

Oh I know you weren't I was just playin. But in all, I'd suggest getting some rooting hormone (or making it like OverGrow says but I haven;t heard much about that) and doing the following:

Take the cut.
Dip it in the Hormon Gel almost instantly.
While it's in the gel you should take off BIG leaves (this reduces the amount of weight the future stem is going to need to handle before rooting.)
From there you put the cutting into a peat pellet and wait till the roots show before replanting it. My :twocents:

yep started on the room trich and mobay sent me a 1000 watt cool tube and ballast with DHL couriers but when ive got it the fuckin cool tube was smashed the box had been opened and fucken customs kert it for three fuckin days the thing thats getting me when i was tracking the parcel on line it said it was in birmingham with the customs but when i got it the drivers said he had to drive up to manchester and pick it up the two are about 100 miles apart and the parcel said manchester customs but when i phoned to complain about the breakage they denied that it was sent to manchester but it says it on the delivery line manchester, custom clearence, what is a parcel that comes into britian through birmingham doing getting sent to manchester for clearance,also it had been opened as it was covered with tape saying reparceled by dhl ,so im glad i had it sent to my freinds house and not my grow house its just a pain that they broke it but ill get by hahahahah, and again mobay my freind thank you very much

Hello Scobbie :) , there must be somewhere close to you that sells seeds love, have you tried the growshops and any local markets ?

Anyway I'll tell you a good place for them ;) ....................... Every Sunday there is a market at Castle Donnington, Leicstershire, just off junction 24 of the M1. You really can't miss it love as it is signposted and it is right next to Castle Donnington race track which inturn is next door to East Midlands Airport.

The Market has plenty of places to park and it costs 50 pence to go into.
Once you have gone thourgh the main entrance turn to the left and just follow the stalls round for about 100 yards and on the left hand side of the row of stalls there is a stall with Jamacan flags and Bob Marley things on it ...............you know the usually type of stuff ;)

Anyway on the stall he has pipes and bongs and that kinda stuff, and a glass case with all the Sensi seed range and the Dutch passion range as well :)
Also he always has a lot more in stock as well .................. and he is there every Sunday, but if the weather is really bad such as heavy rain then that is the only time he isn't there.

search the forum for LST(Low Stress Training) and there are many books that recomend it as for many people on this site and others its basicly tieing down your plants periodicly begining from first tie in which u basicly bend over the main stem and then as the lower branches reach upwards they become uniform with the main cola and its main branches jus keep tieing it down as it grows upwards towards the light and tie back and down fanleaves as togive way to more lower branches this technique multiplies ur end yield many times over since more bud sites get better light and grow more evenly other known tehcniques similiar to this are scrog which is screen of green in which u screen train them as they grow so main branches do the same effect and ends up looking like a sea of green since the main stalk is held behind the screen underneath and all the buds protrude on top...jus something to think about...holla at me

yeah Big Buk, i just added onto the other box to make it bigger. :D . well at 4am est the big buds will have a new home been working with the temps all day now have it set perfectly. i took the 400w ballast and put it in here, they need more light , i need to make this grow a master piece cause you cant clone these bitches. temps are 83.5 with the lights on and heater is set for 78 when they're off. it hasn't been a cold winter here, but when the summer comes it can get real hot in my attic, so i will be growing my ass off in the winter :D . next grow will be soil grow, sorry to spread the bad news , dont get me wrong hydro is the shit . but i mix my nutes in a 10 gallon container, and iam not hauling 10 gallons of nutes up an attic ladder :) . well i will post some pics with the buds in there new home tomorrow. anyone watching the fight tonight? sorry it took so long to post the pics. woke up this morning to move them in there new home, well my old lady was helping me , she was half sleep and as we were carrying the heavy ass 10 gallon,4/ 3ft plants up an attic ladder, she lost handle of the tub so she bends over and snapped 3 of my plants,m yes iam pissed , but i guarded the biggest one with my life , mind you this has water in it. now this nute juice is splashing me all in my face cause iam on the bottom to take the weight, finally we get it up on level ground and i when i seen my plants i almost cried, when i seen how red she gets when i slapped the shit out of her. no just joking . but all and all i was able to save the biggest plant and shes ok hair growing everywhere.

hippie the way i started was the paper towel method to germ my seeds. if i were you i would germ 4 seeds and place them in the corners of the tub. cause with our system they will grow really fast and i had problems when i used all 14 sites. just look at post #216 and tell me how would 14 plants look? like the nutty professor in that small car.

not really hippie those are good odds, all 4 of my big buds were females, and when i took my 3 white widows out of the box and 400w mh, they were showing female and turned herm cause the switch to fluos. your growing NL and i would hate to see you get stressed cause of the space needed. my big bud was 12in tall when i went to 12/12 two weeks ago and shes 3foot tall now. if i were you i would think about a 2nd area to flower at (more space), the plants are going to blow your mind on the speed at which they grow. its going to look really good in the first 2 weeks but after that , your gonna be scratching your head. i dont think they had growing bud in these cabs on their mind. but sog will work fine if you just want to do all 14 pot sites, point is i have learned from my mistakes and i can help you with you grow no problem mon.

I think you suppose to flower early as possible with these grow boxes. So the shortest indica will have to be used I quess. I think he told me that w/o referring that he knew thats that I was trying to grow. The impression I got is that they sell these mostly for weed growers. Now I don't know the exact timetable to switch from veg to flowering but it must be alot earlier with these boxes. The guy from sunlight said you can go from seed to finish with a mini or they woundn't sell so many of them.

People have broken their main stems right off many times and just patched it up to stay there and it grew back even stronger. Just a little info for future reference I guess. Nice plant you got left though ;). Went from 14 plants to 1. Hehe

Some types of plants are more difficult to clone than others. Big Bud is reported to not clone very well. One of my favorite plants, Mr. Kona, is the most amazing pot I ever smoked, but it is hard as hell to clone. What a challenge! I noticed other varieties that were rooting much quicker, but it was the stone I was after! Once you find the psychoactive, almost hallucinogenic properties of some Indica/Sativa hybrids, you never want to smoke a pure Indica again. Indica is however, great medicinally, so I like to grow a few pure strains to.

Its about 19 iches from res to lights. Maybe you have to force to flower even earlier than 12 inches? Got seeds today. Northern lights. I think this is indica, short, bushy. It can be done in these mini's I imagine since thats what their being sold for. The light is not ajustable like on the the big one. I'm going to ask the guy at sunlight what he thinks..

Hell no Big Buk only have 1, gave my brother a few, have my mind set on this one only. i have learned from all my mistakes as we all go through, and the main one was going hydro for my 1st real grow. i wasn't prepaired for the very very fast grow, my next grow will be soil so i can get the hang of things on the plant life thing.

changed the nutes this morning, looking real good there. made my nutes up in a 10 gallon tub downstairs :) , put a sub pump in the tub and ran a garden hose up 2 the attic to add, i thought that shit out all night and part of the early morning before i did anything :D , cause this attic and me are not doing so well, but i will break that bad luck shit. unless its a ghost up there :confused: . here's some pics. i will post every week from now on family. next post of pics feb 13. take care all.

losts of people have asked me about my plant growth and how amazingly fast they they grew, inside my res is a 12inch airstone , a pump for the continuous drip, and a fogger. the fogger is the main trick to my grow. scobbie will be trying the fogger soon and also new to our family is angry hippie he also has a fogger. he's in germ process right now so stay tuned to his grow as well . scobbie is going to take the fogger to the next level on his grow and i hope to follow his footsteps. here is the fogger. it improves the growth of your plants by 40%

Very impressive grow mobay. I suppose the only option is to bend it over as best as you can. I'm guessing its going to continue growth based on your most recent pictures. If thatâ??s not going to create enough room you might have to think about topping it and even LST secondary branches. I've noticed once they start showing a fair few pistils then the branching turns more rigid and less pliable. Best bet would be to LST sooner than later.

You know, 'L'ow 'S'tress 'T'raining. Done properly at this stage of your grow and with the health of your plant, you will significantly increase your overall yield. Once those smaller bud sites can see the direct light and no bigger brothers above them, they all compete to become the biggest. Oh and upload your pics in a smaller resolution like 1024x768. I like looking at them but it takes too long to download.

ok iam back now its day 26 of 12/12 and just got finished counting over 20 main colas growing and more bud sites on their stems. she's out of controll :D . have no more room at the top , so i will be giving her some fresh nutes tomorrow and tie her down somemore, thats going to create more mains to grow towards the light. see ya next week:thumbsup: :thumbsup: . ps whats up old school growers, Scobbie, Big Buk, Mand, Powder Puff, and Thug.
