Hate to ask, are there any threats in getting caught carrying a little bud on a standard US airline? At security? Walk on bag? Check bag?

Second, I am going on a cruise later next year to the carribean from Fort Lauderdale. Anything to worry about with customs and packing Bud? Thought about stuff some in a toothpaste tube (wrapped) and capped. Pls let me know. I cant go on vacation without it..

double baggie your stash, and then drop it in a baggie of paprika or curry powder. Then stick it in your tighty wighties. Personally I would never chance it through airport security or cruise ship security checks. Just take a break while on vacation. You'll appreciate that when you get back and your tolerance level is back to normal.

Well before 9/11, I came through San Fran. from the Orient with children and I had their snacks in my bags. The snooper beagle went crazy and I almost panicked, but the other end of the leash realized it was just food for the kids. So imagine what the dogs will do if it's in your tighty wighties. Although they're passive dogs when sniffing drugs, they'll surely be sniffing your crotch, Dude! :D ;) :thumbsup: Have a great trip!!!!

I have never seen a sniffing dog at an airport. How would they sniff me out?? Anyone? I thought about cutting a tootpaste tube end off, stuffing bud in syran wrap and re-glueing the tube back togther again. Let ride in my luggage. Is this where the dogs are. C'mon I cant drink so I need some bud on the cruise.

Well if you're flying into Miami or LAX, you MAY suspect drug dogs. But if you're flying into Ft. Lauderdale from Charlotte, drug dogs would be rare. I've been on two cruises and they have yet to have any drug dogs.

Better question i have for you is this...where would you smoke up on the cruise ship? I have been on them before...and no matter what time of the day i was up and walking around i always saw someone...other passenger or a worker. Even if you smoke in your room...when the maid comes to clean every day as usual then what?

Bake some cookies/brownies and eat them through out the trip.

My sister and her husband travel a lot and they always take herb on the planes--they empty out some ciggarettes and stuff the broken up ganja into the ciggarettes and then on the end put some tobacco--they do this all the time and have never been caught once--they look like the average person though--so maybe if you have dreadlocks and baggie pants or something you will be searched more than they would anyway--I have no idea what you look like--just be smart!

I have no idea where I would smoke. that is the other challenge. Off the side of the boat? Public bathroom where, yeah youd smell it up, but youd be good and gone before theyd notice. I like the brownie idea alot.

The public bathrooms on the ships would have smoke detectors. If you were caught smoking pot they can kick you off the ship (not literally walk the plank style) But at the next port stop they can remove you from THEIR ship and you'll have to fly home at your own expense.

Just giving a friendly warning tis all. I would recommend that you bring BOTH baked goods while you at sea and actual weed for when your not on the ship and on land...smoke on land somewhere Best of both worlds...

Your going to gain like 8 pounds from this trip you know. Food is endless and oh sooo good

i wen to florida recently i didn't see one drug dog either way

I went on a cruise recently at frt. lauderdale.. . no drug dogs at all.. I took a small bag and wrapped in two other bags with two dryer sheets in the bag.. then tapped the bag under my nuts... it was an 1/8 and was uncomfortable so once on the plane i took it off my nuts and just put it in my pocket (in the bathroom).. and there are places on the boat that you can smoke... I either smoked out by the rail at night or I smoke in our bathroom with the hot shower runniing.. just blow the smoke into the shower. the steam and moisture covers the smell pretty well... Hope this helps

I carried a Quarter of the best bud in the world absoloutely stinking of it in my pocket through Dutch and Scottish Security.

Gave both sets of security teams a nice big smile.
