lol my parents are asleep. my dad is snoring. so i snuck in to their room and they were still sleepin. and as i silently approached te roach jar my dads snoring started to get quieter. so i left the room. and as soon as i walked out, he started snoring again. lol. i tried it a second time, the same thing happened. WTF?!?!? lol

seriously, nobody can come near me without me knowing when Im asleep.
I can set the sensitivity of my radar when I go to sleep.
Like, if i want to awaken when someone comes to the doorway of my room, or as far away as the front porch Im up.
And if I want to wake when my son rolls over in bed or his breathing patterns change, im up.
And on the other side...if i want to sleep through it, no problem.
I can even set my alarm, put it beside my head and decide to sleep through it and I can ( yes I have experimented with it hehe) Or I can wake a couple seconds before it goes off.
Its pretty neat once you fine tune your radar. Handy too.

I know I was one to ring the bell and attack this guy too, mind you a little differently than some of y'all, BUT Im eating my words now.
And Im going to go so far as to ask the rest of you for a little slack on his behalf.
I was wrong about him. He is not the guy I thought he was.
But beyond that, i treated him poorly.
I didnt give him the same level of respect I have given others who felt as he does.
And , most disturbingly, I didnt treat him the way I would hope people would treat my kid if he was caught up and overwhealmed by his emotions.
He is a guy living and struggling and learning. Lets give him space to do so.
I didnt extend the same hand to him that has in my own past been extended to me. A hand to help me pick myself up and brush myself off so that I could begin walking once again towards my future.
Had I been treated the way he is, i wouldnt be here today.
A great number of us have felt desperate first hand, and even contemplated suicide.
When I first reached out for help as a youth, i was scared. I was scared to live and scared to die. If I had been ridiculed for sharing the feelings inside me that led to that, i would never have opened up to let the love in that helped me.
Maybe i wouldnt have killed myself right away, but i do know where my path was leading and its not a pretty place.
Feeling desperate and overwhealmed can eaily lead to isolation which can easily lead to a feeling of hopelessness and well...make you give up on yourself.
Everyone needs a hand to help tham along now and again.
Unfortunately we have not all been born into a family that nurtures that. And we have not all been taught the same skills to deal with our problems.
You cannot blame him for that.
So, Im going to ask something in all sincerity people.
Give the guy a chance to grab onto the outstreached hand without constantly reminding him of this desperate moment by flaming him all over the board.
Let him take a few steps away from it.
Dont chain it to him as another burdon he must carry.
I personally am asking you to just let it go.
People act desperate when they are feeling desperate...its how we work.
He did what he felt he needed to do to force himself to face his shit one way or another.
Lets not make him wear that moment like a garment he can never remove.
Ive been talking to him a bit and I feel his sincerity.
If it turns out he is playing , let me be played. Im a big boy and I can handle it.
But, i feel him, and Id like for you to consider him a friend of mine, a member of the community we all love, and extend him some grace and tolerance.
I personally would appreciate it.

Consider me his big brother. And expect me to act the part if y'all attack him every post he makes.

Let him step back from this and at one point he will be able to share some viewpoints you may see when you look at his situation and behavior now.
But right now, he is too thick in the middle of it to see much beyond a shitty situation with no solution.
You cant really fault the guy for using the skills he has availlable to him.
He has expressed a desire to learn how to rise above this
Give him a chance please.

I roll generation joints from roaches too...those are wonderful things!
Don't slip too much out or they are going to notice man, limit to 3-4 enough to roll a decent smoke for you. (don't smoke out your homies on stolen stash, that's tacky) I promise ya he will know just about how many joints he can roll out of his jar at a glance so pick selectively. (plus you know roach joints are more potent anyways so you'll need less)
