Well, I found this kid who sells the weed at my school (probably a second-hand), and he is selling me a $5.00 amount tommorow. Now, what can I expect from this and what should I do with it? I mean, I don't know anywhere I could smoke, so I was just thinking about putting on my food. Would that give me the same amount of high?

By the way, I asked for an 1/8th and he laughed and said, "You mean a bowl?" Is this normal for things to be sold by a "bowl"?

Is this normal for things to be sold by a "bowl"?Sounds like either he's fucking with you or he doesn't know what he's doing. First of all, an eighth is more like.. I don't know.. 10-14 bowls. I have hit up random people on the street for weed and bought bowls for $5, though (figuring $20 a gram is local standard, that's about right). If he ends up really giving you an eighth, it's more than likely going to be shwag.

Finally, if you're only going to end up with one bowl (which I expect), don't expect to get high your first time. It takes most people a few tries before they even feel the stone. I'd plan on investing a lot more money. :thumbsup:

Just make a foil pipe. You use a bic pen to make it. Anyone have a page that shows how you do that? Basically pull the ink tube half way out of the plastic pen tube. Wrap foil around the part where the ink tube and plastic tube connect, make the foil about 7 or 8 layers. Then pull the pen and ink tube out and you are left with a foil pipe with a perfectly shaped bowl. This is much better than smoking from a coke can.

Hope you understand what I'm talking about from that short instruction.

first off, if he will sell by the bowl, its going to be poopy pot. what youll probably get is shwag, so $5 would buy you a nickle. i recommend getting $20 and buying an 1/8th...with thaqt amount of pot, its not good to cook it...just smoke it...your not going to get an 1/8th for $5, and thats why he said "you mean a bowl?"...

For your first time I would think that you would want to be with someone else, just to keep your perspective and enjoy it with.
It is easy, when inexperienced, to have obsessive thought based on your apprehensions and you dont want to have an unenjoyable high. ( btw dont worry about cancer unless youre mixing it with tobacco)
Not that you need a babysitter while high but until you take it you never know how you wil react. Its a precaution I would advise for any 14 yr old trying anything. Its always better to have a friend.

My own personal feeling is that you should wait until you are a bit older before you experiment with mind altering substances but Im certainly not going to ignore you based on that. Bottom line is youll do what you want and its best to be informed.
I feel that at 14 you still have much "being a kid" left in you. you still are very much in a stage of self discovery. I think its better to discover who you are before changing who you are.
Marijuana is a powerful thing. Dont let anyone tell you it isnt just because it is green and natural. It has the power to enhance your life, or to do the opposite dependant upon your own psychological state at your age.
The fact that you want to try it to escape reality tells me youre not as prepared as you could be.
Nothing will help you escape reality, its unavoidable.
Whatever it is that you are trying to escape or avoid will be there waiting when you come down, possibly worse because you avoid dealing with it.
And it may well overcome the tone of your high if it is a big enough problem.
MJ is a wonderful thing that can give you perspectives on things you wouldnt normally have. It can give you insight into yourself and the world around you. You can have some profound experiences with it.

Too many people use it just like they would a case of beer, but it is oooh soo much more than that.

It is a plant that demands a high level of respect because of the power it holds. You can unlock doors in your mind, peek through some widows in your mind, and find places within you that you didnt know existed.

If you dont smoke you might have some troubles inhaling the smoke so you want a small joint for your first try. That link I posted also will tell you how to roll one up. Make it a small one and take a few inhales and put it out, allow yourself to become accustomed to the feeling before lighting it back up.( meter your dose )
Since you are 190 lbs you likely wont have any issues with a 5$ bud. Its not enough to get you too fucked. But , like I said pace it out.
As others have mentioned, you may not feel a thing your first time. I didnt , many dont, but many do. Its a gamble to see which one you are.
So, dont go hopping on dads tractor and going for a spin hehe.

Living in the country you likely wont have too hard of a time finding a private spot.
Keep in mind when you go back in the house you will have the smell stuck to you so, take that into consideration if itll cause a hassle.
Likely your eyes will get red and glossy, especially if you cough while getting used to inhaling.

Dont be walking when you smoke it..too easy to get a headrush your first time. Have a seat and relax. And, stand slowly when youre ready to go. ( man I wish you were not doing it alone )
So, you should feel a nice relaxed state...like you just jerked off....followed by seemingly random thoughts. If a thought bothers you, just hitch onto the next one drifting by and dont dwell on it. Keep it positive. And dont smoke it while you are upset. It will dictate your thoughts and also teach your brain that pot is how to avoid problems.

So, enjoy the relaxed state, the euphoria and keep it fun.
