How do you "choose" your dreams? Or make yourself have more lucid dreams? Sounds kinda cool since all my dreams are about my old job and I'm washing dishes. Sounds fun huh?

YES mon!
Only I dont call them lucid dreams anymore.
But, ive posted it before and Ill post it again...
the book that started me on my journey, and one I HIGHLY recommend is
"Adventures Beyond The Body" by "William Buhlman"
He does a great job of laying it out in laymans terms while at the same time teaching of the true journey you take. He discusses several techniques to help you. Great book that helped me fine tune my own techniques.
It will most definately lead you to self evolution and one step closer to enlightenment. No shit.
Im so passionate about lucid dreaming, astral projection, premonitionary dreamstae, on and on.
Feel free to email me with any questions.
Use this one: sage_wisdom@hushmail(dot)com
This is such a great book Id scan it and offer it for sharing if I wasnt concerned about copywrite issues!

I've only been able to do it a few times. I fly. I fly all around town and then I relize that I can be using this time to sleep with hot women. Then I wake up. Frustrating but fun.

astral projection is hard. one time i did but dunno how i did it. i was lying down in bed and it felt like i was floating but i was still awake. i could see around the room and everything.

yep lucid dreams or whatever are the shit.a friend of mine turned me on to this and its very real.he told me when im dreaming to try as hard as i can to tell yourself your dreaming and also look at your hands in the dream.also befor sleep focus on a single object and think of nothing but that object.for me it was a tree outside the window.when i fell asleep i saw the tree.and with a leap i was in the air and then i realized i was dreaming.i took flight and could actually feel the wind and the pull of gravity as i flew it was awesome.

i've had lucid dreams before, but they were wasted, seeing as i realized i was dreaming, and all i did was walk on the ledge of this brick wall that separates my backyard from the neighbors. and tell her dog to shut the fuck up.

Oh yes...
I'm an active lucid dreamer. I love it and always try to turn new people on. Many find the concept crazy, but soon shift perspectives after experiencing it themselves. I'm also a member on DreamViews.com.
Funky- You and I would definitely enjoy a conversation with each other. I'll send you an email sometime or meet up with you in the chat.
Take it easy all!
Oh, and do a google on Stephen Laberge!

Lucid dream yes I have heard of this
and also had them
its a funny thing but hard to control since the transfer from dreaming to lucid dreaming occurs "I think"just before u start to wake up because then u realize ur dreaming and can't stay asleep anymore now I had this lucid dream was when I was falling down a cliff I`m sure more of u have had this dream cause its a very common dream the whole falling things
well normally before u hit the ground u wake up in your bed and have this wicked feeling :D this time I kept on dreaming and Hit the ground VERY HARD and it had hurt me
it was really weird hitting the ground instead of waking up
so I got on my feet and walked out of the canyon I was in and came in some kind of theme park in which I could let myself get killed in a 101 ways :D
which I did and that was kinda a cool experience lol
and yes its true that smoking weed pretty much stops the dreaming
I noticed that myself when I quit for about 2 months and started to have dreams each night again and very realistic and fun dreams
and some of those were lucid
but I still wanna train to get more of those dreams
but I fear that when I become good at this. u start creating a second reality "sort of" and it will be harder for me to make the difference between those
I have a friend who can do lucid dreaming whenever he wants
and he just lives on in his dreams as he does when he's awake
I dont even wanna know the juicy parts lol

Lucid Dreaming is when your dreaming, but your conscious enough to realize that you are dreaming. Once you do, you can create and do anything you want within the dream.
I've even heard that one can learn how to stop time in the dream, making the dream appear to last days or even years.

You kind of need to limit your consumption of cannabis since it decreases your REM (Rapid Eye Movement). More REM means that your dreaming is more "active".
In my dreams I always think that it is reality. What a waste...But when shite like me having something that I know that I can't have in real life, I immediately know that I'm dreaming. Sometimes I can lucid dream if that occurs. Any tips on how one can distinguish reality from a dream. If so, that would be awesome.

So you have to go to sleep stoned and you will have one?
skarz
05-21-2006, 08:32 PM
No, going to sleep stoned limits it. Lucid dreaming is a technique you have to work on over time... google it and you'll find techniques to enhance the number of lucid dreams you have until you can basically have them on command. Lucid dreaming is one of the best things EVER because there are no earthly limits, you can fly, swim forever, do whatever you want. One herb that can help in lucid dreaming is Calea Zacatechichi (it won't automatcially make you have lucid dreams, its an aid!)

Alright, I'm gonna try this out right NOW. Wish me luck...I have my gay little journal ready.
I'm basically going to try what www.dreamviews.com says, which is reminding myself of my objective before going to sleep, and looking for "reality checks" as I'm in the 5th RMS state.
Wish me luck.

I ended up waking up with a horrendous headache. I think I tried to hard...I managed to KNOW I was sleeping, but I couldn't be assed to be creative or do anything. I was just...tired. How do I conquer the whole WANTING TO SLEEP feeling?
Anyway, I will not stop trying until I master it.

I had my first one last night sort of. Been trying to do it for a while! After reading about it right before sleeping I started having a dream. At first it was just a dream and shit was happening. Then everyone in my dream disappeared and I was like "Am I dreaming" so I started rubbing my eyes to see if I could wake up. Well anyways everyone reappeared and I started to realize that I was dreaming and can do anything I want. I was saying this all to myself in my dream...but then I woke shortly after due to my alarm. Hope it happens again soon where I can explore it further
